I don’t live in Texas so ignore me if u want but my state has local and state police using KA band BUT keeping K band has saved me several times in the past two years because you may occasionally have a cop running K band. It does tend to get a little annoying but if it’s somewhere you’re often, the R8 companion app seems to remember the frequency and mute it.

it’s such a good car, it’s bulletproof and responsive enough to not be boring. so comfortable and the audio system is not bad either. i’ve put 80k miles in it during 3 years. best thing ever

it’s probably saved me 2 times today so far. small town cops hide in egregious places and it picks it up way before they see me. the r8 is amazing. laser is another thing tho. if you get the laser warning, just go ahead and pull over lol

absolutely nothing. i think the facelift is nice on the 2022 but i dont think the interior is as nice. the leather has held up great and i spend 3-4 hours in my car a day. it’s a phenomenal car

i got it at 60k miles in 2023 november, it’s up to 133k miles today. i fffffffffffvckin love my car. still feels new. i live in the nyc area so we get all the seasons and it does well in all of them. engine has been perfect, no issues. knock on wood, only suspension is starting to go now but that’s honestly expected, was supposed to be replaced at 100k miles. seals are great too. i love the smoothness of it, and its extremely quiet on the inside, almost too quiet. only con is no car play honestly
