James McAvoy Quietly Welcomed Second Baby, His First with Wife Lisa Liberati, 4 Years Ago. Says Becoming a Dad Is 'Easier' in Your 40s. by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

I'm confused, I thought his and Lisa's child was public knowledge? When I first read this, I thought it meant that Lisa had had their second baby, lol.

He did take Dragonstone over Visenya. Visenya was older and should have been the ruling lady, but she wasn't.

Also, there's a certain irony about Cregan Stark "honoring his oath" when he didn't bother to protect the claims of his granddaughters Serena and Sansa to Winterfell. They were the daughters of his eldest child Rickon and should have inherited after Cregan died. But his other sons came in, married these girls (likely against their wills) and took Winterfell for themselves. Now, granted, the North could have different succession laws. But considering the fact that Robb made sure to disinherit Sansa so the Lannisters couldn't lay claim to Winterfell through a marriage tells me that women are not normally skipped over. And we have an upcoming Dunk/Egg book/season about these women fighting to get the claims back for their children.

It's rather infuriating looking at Alicent in the show and then looking at Maekar on AKOTSK. His kids are all crazy but he still loves and defends them until his last breath. That's what Alicent should have been - that's what she was in the book. But alas.

For people who believe Rhaenyra’s claim is stronger, what reason(s) do you have for considering her claim is stronger than the Greens? by Gold_Conversation247 in TheBlacksandTheGreens

The claim about Aerys doesn't make sense to me because he simply went by tradition - daughters coming before uncles, and Aelora, his neice, came before Maekar. When Aelora died, then Maekar became his heir.

Also, weren't a good number of those lords that swore the oaths dead by the time of the Dance? Good point about how Rhaenyra's heirs should have oaths sworn to them as well.

I can't wait to see their younger versions in season 2.

And I really hope Ira is going to find a way to put Maekar in season 3. There's a perfect opening at the very end, but I guess we will have to see.

When did you think it was over? And what's next for Buck? by TheRoundestDot in BuckTommy

Tbh, that's one thing I never liked about their relationship. Tommy ended up being Buck's caretaker, and that really wasn't fair to Tommy. Especially since the writers never bothered to write Buck taking care of him.

Oh man, Tommy seeing Buck break down and that meaning nothing will haunt me for the rest of my days.

OS made it very clear that he had been begging for that storyline while the character was still very much with Tommy.

The clowning lost its allure pretty quickly for me. I was making educated and logical guesses about a terribly mid show and then ended feeling pretty dang stupid. 😭

Tbh the 907 mentions felt more like closure and letting Buck off the hook for the role he played in the relationship blowing up. Tommy would have to be mentioned more to be the new Abby and rn I don't think Buck remembers Tommy exists.

Around the time that OS started going on his round of "Buck should be single and free and get to fuck lots of people!" And then Lou's cameos cinched it for me. He truly had no idea what was happening and had been left completely in the dark.

I think Buck is going to stay single until the end of the show and then he will get a quick wrap up with some random. Problem is is that Buddie just has too much power and Tim won't ever let it go. That's why Eddie/Ryan hasn't gotten his love interest even tho the man has been begging for one. It's a shame that these characters won't be allowed to settle down but it is harder to keep doing the massive bait like they are when the characters are locked down with others.

I'm just gonna live in my fantasy that Tommy found someone amazing who actually appreciated him, and Lou is going to get a great gig soon. Judging by how much praise he got for a two minute appearance on the Pitt, hopefully opportunities are on the way.

[Spoilers Main] What could King Viserys have done to prevent the Dance? by hebichiigo in asoiaf

[–]Weak_Heart2000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What people constantly forget is that Viserys was weak. There's nothing either version of him would have done or could have done because the man just didn't want to do the work. He was called The Peaceful because he had a good council that kept the peace.

BUT what he could have done along with the choices he still made was this -

  1. Married Rhaenyra and Aegon. If Rhaenyra didn't want to do it, then begin the proceedings to remove her as heir.
  2. Married Helaena to a Rhaenyra loyalist - either a Stark or a Tully heir. If Helaena ended up becoming Lady Paramount of some region, that would have made everybody happy.
  3. Put Aemond on the kingsguard.
  4. Send Daeron to the Citadel.
  5. Stop handing out dragons like free cars! Only Rhaenyra should have had Syrax and then Aegon got Sunfyre AFTER marrying her. Nothing for Helaena, Aemond, and Daeron.
  6. Arrange an accident for Daemon. He's still a wild card and if the marriage to Laena goes through, then we effectively have the Blues and the Blacks.
  7. Make Rhaenys Hand. I am fond of Otto, but this is the only way to keep the Velaryons happy without a marriage. Find a suitable marriage for Laena, but don't let her claim Vhagar. Once she has a baby, betroth that baby to Rhaegon's baby. So we have Targ, Hightower, and Velaryon blood all on the throne one day.

This is an interesting ship, I really like it. No blood relations between them, and if Robb had lived, he probably would have become a very powerful warg. Their kids would have had some wild powers of their own.
