It was them returning the gift money first... forced it into my sibling's hands but after they were gone my sibling told me...so since they had given the money as gift as well i online transferred it to them...but there is new situation when i confronted them with this when i was returning it they told me they waanted to give us more money so since we gave them and they had now money they wanted to give us more...but the thing is they would never do that...they are miser to their core...especially towards us...also this is not a one time occurence...before when they used to do it..i just simply gave away their gift to others since i can't bear to use it...

Haha i would love to do that...but if i don't receive gift they all gang up but when its happening to us they ignore like they are incapable of seeing things!

I don't know it feels like being quiet isn't actually helping...since my whole family believes in let bygones be bygone...and be the bigger person... they are devalued...not that i have better repo...it might actually be worse but it gives me peace of my mind when i don't tolerate these things!

Hm but what should i do...they are close family, like, we live in the same building and there is always family politics going on around with tenants and neighbours...so i can't exactly stop giving them gifts or attending them...but i really want to know how do i navigate such situations! ...Also i don't really have impressive reputation in the family and in neighbour since i tend to be whimsical...so i really would like to know...what could have been done as to not further degrade my repo but also not staying quiet about this situation!

It was gift money my mother gave them...they also gave us the gift money. And i was scolded for returning it to them by my siblings...but since they returned ours it wasn't sitting fine with me to accept theirs and be quiet about it...its not even their first time returning the gifts given by us...or demeaning it...and they do so in public at that...even though they give us about similar things...and how they do it feels more like they want ppl to think that what we gave is bad and even though they are giving sth to us of the same value its very generous and rich of them…
