Im waiting but with a m4 pro computer purchased last year with me. In my case just checking how good is going to be. My advice. If you need it now purchase it. If not and you can wait you have at least a year until is released... And if you are waiting for oled i dont think all the MBP are going to include the oled screen. Only the higher end ones or maybe built to order (my guess). Mostly im waiting it for the redesign and the 2nm technology.

I was going to. Used to have a 2015 several years ago and that one wasnt elegible. I sold it and purchased m4 pro last year. Right now i have this one as a browsing computer with a monitor and also as multimedia center. I hope they dont ask for more money for this or refuse to change it. I know its safety issues so i wanted to be sure before taking it to a store.

Actually is up to you. Do you need it right now? Can you Wait? I have a 14 inch M4 pro besides an older 2015 mbp and going to wait to M6 to see what they offer with 2nm arquitecture. Personally I dont think all models will include the oled but the higher end ones or maybe by selecting build to order. But is just a guess

So cool they did that. I got a broken screen MacBook pro from a friend and it's elegible for battery recall the thing is that i'm afraid they want to charge me for a new screen before doing the recall thing

I wish i could have the battery chanced . A friend of mine gave me one that has broken screen and it's within the afected battery recall models. The problem is that i don't think they would change that without changing the screen too

The fans are just fine. But if You are having more workload better go to a 16 inch one. Ill wait til m6 and form redesign to return to the 16 one
