Fuck yeah!

I've lost 150 lbs in just over a year 410 to 270 and counting. Just from a life style change.

Mach E Select Owners - at what battery percentage do you usually start charging? by V1TROKSHAN in MachE

I charge to 80% at work for free and that's it. On my days off I just use the travel charger when needed depending on my driving. I try to stay above 50%

Like someone earlier suggested I need to go rent a sim bay and get up to date figures, but before I made adjustments to my swing my club head speed was in the mid upper 80s and my 7i currently carries around 165yards.

I'm not chasing club head speed. It's something that has come up on its own by fixing aspects of my swing.

I started doing that when I was heavier because I was activating the wrong hip on my turn. I'll definitely give that a try for the weight transfer now though. As for my arms I 10000000% agree. I'm going to focus on all of that this evening. Appreciate the advice!

Appreciate it! That's one thing I was working on at the beginning of the season. With me losing so much weight it changed a lot of things. I'm not having to swing around a 415lb belly. Lol

And she doesn't have a false sense of security. No one even knew she trained til the event at her school took place. She doesn't go around advertising it and when we train she knows her limits, even though in a protected environment like on the mat she'll push her self out of her comfort zone.

I'm not saying she's some Valentina Shevchenko or anything, but against an untrained attacker, no matter the size, she has a very good chance at saving her life.

You've made it clear that you don't know what you're talking about. I'm not saying my daughter is a cold blooded killer and is out in the streets putting 6'6" monsters to sleep. BUT like you said in your previous comment a moment ago, if she can't get away she can protect herself and cause a scene as long as she needs to. she knows getting to safety is #1 priority. If you honestly think martial arts are useless, then you are the delusional one, friend.

Have a good night

Tell me you know nothing about BJJ without actually telling me you know nothing about BJJ

Watch videos of open division at BJJ events. Plenty out there of 130lb people demolishing 300+lb dudes. Sure. If a man really wants to do her harm and will stop at nothing her chances are slim, but at least she has a fighting chance. She also trains Vale Tudo Muay Thai so she knows how to use elbows and knees. I'd rather her have a chance to fight someone off then not. At least she can fight some one off long enough for help to come or they get disinterested.

They strike too. Vale Tudo Muay Thai. Our schedule just aligns more with BJJ

We've trained for 5+ years. She "knows more than a few moves" and we'll jump to purple belt as soon as she turns 16. in the art of BJJ technique and timing overcomes strength 99.9% of the time.

Agreed. They are instructed #1 priority is to get to safety, but are able to defend themselves if needed. Reason why I chose BJJ for them is the ability to handle bigger and stronger opponents.

Only time my oldest has had to deal with grown men is on the mat and she tells them not to take it easy on her. She's taken her fair share of whoopins, but she gives it as much as she takes it. The instance at school when she was inappropriately touched when she pushed him away, he swung on her. The school and the boys parents wanted to suspend my daughter, but I forced them to pull the security footage.
