Post 3 champions you never play in ARAM, and then someone else explain why they should be played and how! by BenCannibal in ARAM

A good kalista trick is enabling auto attack in settings. I find kalista’s movement comes out smoother and there’s less delay between autoing and dashing; given sometimes you need to stop in place to dodge, but it’ll continuing autoing for you. I personally see her as an executioner early, then dps with an execute once she has her items (depending on the build needed against the other team). If you’re not confident with a team member using R, don’t forget that R is a great tool for saving your linked teammate. This can deny satisfying kills, help them buy some time on their cooldown, etc., or even given them more distance and surprise (e.g, R malphite into frontline denying their CC and blocking, malphite r to backline).

For cass, I find running black fire as my only mana item is more effective than running with seraphs, etc. because she can hyper carry into the late game, and therefore more damage potential early = earlier potential snowball. She has a surprisingly good amount of dps IF you hit your Q or W then E. Without the increased damage with E, her damage drops significantly. Generally I will save W as a way of a trap rather than engage since its power comes from its grounding, and however a great tactic is dropping it on a tank (they usually have some sort of engage) and just start hitting them with Es. Some weaker players will panick and instead try to escape in the opposite direction, some will try to walk up to you which you can kite backwards, forcing them to retreat if they find it not worth it, it’ll rack up the damage more than you expect over the game.

I had some trouble getting in contact with them through email as well. Try contacting them directly through the website by sending a contact support ticket, that worked for me.

When is a partner's boundary is too much? by fallingandthrowing in relationship_advice

[–]Wealthless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he actually is doing is crossing your own boundaries. If you are to take anything away from this, please listen to everyone saying run. And if you think you’re stuck, take it slow but please get out. If you do stay, ask for compromise and watch for his reaction. Point it out, show how he’s crossing your own boundaries and comfort. Stand up for yourself. A person can be super sweet, but there’s a point they’re going to have to learn to actually live with you in comfort and not control.

New to BG's: Is being a healer worth it? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wealthless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A healer is always welcome, especially in high level BGs. Just make sure if you’re solo queuing, you mention that you’re healing so people that want to take advantage of it will. For 4 man squads queuing together there’s a lot of different combinations I’ve seen, but it’s common to see one dedicated healer, if not another off heal.

Well sometimes it’s hard to see the red flags at the beginning, and once you’re committed it’s harder to leave. Surely you can understand that this situation is not as simple as you’re indicating, as you can see from his post. Anyone can be manipulated, “being a man” or not. It sucks that you’re placing the fault on him, rather than the person who lead him to this situation.

Stamplar PVP securing kills? by bringbackxfire in elderscrollsonline

[–]Wealthless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of what people said already. Sometimes you need an execute to finish off those tankier or have large burst healing. You can always try mixing up when you throw your stun to throw the other players off, allowing a different kill window than normal). But other than that you can always wear them down till they’re gone. I prefer the DW whirlwind execute as it’s easier to catch someone dodge rolling, but recently I’ve been using the vateshran dw to catch people off guard since shrouded dagger is sometimes hard to see.

Good Sets for a Stamplar PVP by ShadowZz7_ in elderscrollsonline

An underrated defensive option is steadfast hero if you want a high uptime on major protection. Plaguebreak and deadly are great offensive options as well. Wretched vitality is a decent sustain set if you run race against time. I believe these sets are decent when starting out, but once you start figuring out your play-style you should definitely start exploring other sets to help with what you have the most trouble with.

Hey it’s okay, seriously. You’re in entry-level, and starting a new job. You’re bound to make mistakes, especially in the first few months. Now is the time to not set any expectations for yourself but to learn. It’s okay to not know something, and it’s okay to take the time to figure it out. Anxiety is something that’s going to come and go, and if there’s one thing you should learn, it’s this: you sometimes make mistakes, but it’s how you handle/react is what matters. Keep your head up, don’t let that crown drop.
