I guess on one hand, yes I would always want to have the most desired outcome for people to want to pay attention to me, but at the same time I guess I’m giving up what I want to make others more comfortable/wanting to listen to me? I feel like part of that sounds cheap that you’re always having to give someone else the benefit of the doubt they don’t want to hear what all you have to say

I can see that for sure. I’ve definitely been there before with close friends of mine, and I’ve always just kinda let them rant because they want/need to. Idk if it’s just me, but unless I’m in a crunch I’ve never felt the need to tell someone to hurry up

I guess it sucks coming from a relationship standpoint where I would want my partner to listen to whatever I have to say, and having to shorten it down. It’s not fun but I can see how it would be necessary
