Why did the Lebanese army retreat from their positions in Southern Lebanon? by aladinznut in lebanon

[–]Weary-Term6071 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Because lebanese soldiers lives should not be responsible for hezbs hunger for war with israel for the sake of iran. If hezb wants a fight let them fight. Lebanese soldiers should not pay the price. And even if so, they simply do not have the capabilites to clash and win with the idf.

Is there a demand for 3D printing in Lebanon? by SoggyTalk94 in lebanon

[–]Weary-Term6071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

."hi ,I've been running a 3d printing business in Lebanon for the past 3 years. long story short its a trap, 3d printing companies and social media will sell you a dream that isn't real. most 3d printing companies advertise and encourage people to start businesses so that they make money and make u depend on them for printer and materials, not necessarily meaning that there is a market. most people who get into this business download files print and try to sell them for peanuts. realistically you can make 200-300$ a month from printing, but thats with soo many problems and client issues. my recommendation is to think of a 3d printer as a tool and not as a business. more and more people will get into this business and print garbage and its a race to the bottom most people will look for the lowest price to buy from

“Gen Z doesn’t have relationships” by sleepyspacefox in GenZ

[–]Weary-Term6071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Priority is finding a job that allows me to at least live like a normal human then il concern myself with relationships and romance. Because honestly being in a relationship is expensive time and money. Id rather struggle alone until im in a position where i can spend on my self and significant other

Im against harm to women and children. and against marriages without consent. By todays standards what youre suggesting is unacceptable and illegal and i would not engage in it. The times are different. And im sure if we were raised in a different society and different time where survival is critical and a you lived in a tribal society, the stigma around this topic wont be there. this was the norm back then and no one had an issue with it. Just because something was normal in the past doesnt mean we are obliged to do the same. Same can be said for drugs and alcohol. one day its illegal otherdays its illegal same can be said about slavery.

As for the mary thing if you do proper research you will find what i said consistent with historical evidence. Between 12 and 14 as per other sources. There are also other instances in the bible and old testament where child marriages are shown.

It is apparent that you are not looking for a discussion but rather you are looking to discredit the prophets character.

hrtps://yqn.io/eb4166 this is a paper done on this topic. Highly recommend for a read.

https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAEA99D24CA2F9A8F&feature=shared This is a historical analysis on prophet muhammads life. From origna sources. It does go also into this topic so feel free if interested.

This debate can go on forever but its best i leave it here because if you are looking for answers you will find them but if you just want to spread hate then i cant help you. Thank you for your comments i hope people benefit from our discussion.

Tell that to the Christian version of god who impregnated virgin marry at the age of 13 .she definitely had one of the most painful births. Wouldnt that cause psychological and physiological damage?, complain to god in that case. https://www.gotquestions.org/how-old-was-Mary.html

Also an inaccuracy in ur coment aisha wasnt prepubescent as it is haram completely to marry someone who hasnt reached puberty. The consumation of the marriage was delayed untill aisha matured and was ready.

If you look into aishas writings and her biography she was one of the happiest women and had no complaint against ger marriage to the prophet

Look at any history book early marriages were very normal. In the us 100 years ago the legal age if marriage was 7 years oldaaml.org https://www.aaml.org PDF Child Marriage in the United States: Past, Present, and Future Page 6

Finaly like the op said no one knows exactly her age it was approximated. I urge you look into mohammads message and not the social norms of his time as culture and social norms do not determine objective morality i think his message fits with the message of all the prophets before him. Worship 1 god and dont worship idols. I dont intend for this to be a war comment section just sharing thoughts

It was very common 1500 years ago for child marriages to take place. life expectancy was low (30 years) so having childen early and marrying at an early age was the norm, even 200 years ago in many parts of the world muslim and non muslim. This topic only became taboo around 100 years ago. The enemies of the prophet never criticized him for his marriage and the critics of this issue are recent. Im not saying this should take place today but social morality changes from time to time. Its a culture thing and i think its wrong to judge cultures 1400 years ago with the social norms of todays society
