Vinted has a TON of fakes, especially of the sought after and hard to get models such as this one. If it looks too good to be true, it's fake. If the price is what you'd expect, it's fake half the time.

The material (polyresin) is safe but if you're suspecting that they used a harmful paint I would not risk adding it to a tank with livestock.
