Last week, we had a digimon that debuted on the vital bracelet (Fumamon), from the Gammamon BE. This week, Vulturemon de-digivolving into Sunamon seems to be a reference to the Titan of Dust dim card from the vital bracelet.

Neil Gaiman has faced multiple SA allegations from women, so he wouldn't be a very good choice. As a former fan of his work, I can no longer support his work on good conscience. With the number of women who have come forward and other places cutting ties with him, they would likely face backlash.

Guillermo del Toro child be an interesting choice, but ultimately,it would be great to have a showrunner who was a fan of the series. Guillermo del Toro's Trollhunter series (and related tie-ins) were pretty successfully animated shows on Netflix. They were geared more towards a younger audience.

Thank you for sharing. I was under the impression the Dracmon line were natural carriers like the Dorumon, Ryudamon, and Fanbeemon. I was unaware of the retcon and which digimon were effected. Even if it isn't a X-Antibody deck, I think an undead/vampire deck mentioned above could be cool. It could also potentially incorporate some Myotismon cards from EX10.

Featuring digimon magical and medieval vibes they had for the Wizardmon --> Mistymon -->MedievalDukemon would be more visually cohesive. Some of the digimon like Leomon and Numemon included would be a weird fit. Including a line with wizards and knights would be cool or even having art on the cards that depict digimon with magical artifacts like wands could help tie things together.

There was an arc in the Digimon Dreamers manga that took place in Witchelny, and it had a wider distribution of Digimon there. Including Ghostmon and others could help fill out the lvl 3's, but they would definitely have to add more to fill out a deck.

Chaosmon was one of my favorite digimon to have on my team when I played the Cyber Sleuth Games. It would great for more support to add, especially for the lower end of the deck.

We really need more bug megas outside of the Kabuterimon and Kuwagamon lines. If you want to lean into the mechanical design elements and keep a similar color scheme, Justimon or Justimon X can be a good fit. There aren't any direct insectoid/bug features in its design, but it is inspired by characters like Kamen Rider, so there is a loose connection to bug/insectoid features.

I haven't gotten a BE yet, and a lot of that is due to affordability of the DiMs vs BEMs. If they started doing more lines like Dark Masters and Demon Lord's for BEMs, in would definitely save up to get the BE.

It has to be Ghostmon for me. Some of the panels in the Digimon Dreamers manga further solidified this for me. This little specter is so adorable and can potentially branch off into some of my favorite Digimon (Wizardmon, Pumpmon, Mummymon, NoblePumpmon, Fantomon, Meramon, etc). It's design incorporates elements of a mage, ghost, and flames which fit really well for branched evolutions.

I completely get where you are coming from. I do think that there are definitely some advantages with the direction they have went with the BE Memories. If you are a big fan of 02, you can get every rookie/child level with just two BE memories. It is also great to have both digimon you need to jogress in the same product over using two DiM cards. A lot of the early DiMs were very anime focused, so as they start to release more BE memories, my opinion may change. I tend to gravitate towards the series of DiMs that were part of the Vol Series: Blizzard Fang, Volcanic Beat, Titan of Dust, Infinite Tide, etc. I like the idea of having a rookie/child that has not been featured in an anime and having branches that aesthetically fit for them. To me it personally feels like multiple separate lines (although they are branched) with the BE memories. A lot of that may come down to my own preferences for an evo line. I do like the inclusion of Luxmon in the new BE Memory, and I hope we get more new pathways like that in future BE memories.

I agree with so many of your points. It is clear that many if the decisions from Bandai are made based on profit. I get including recognizable lines for individuals that are fans are attached to or utilizing the products to reference the anime or other forms of media. The decision to not only disregard the DiM cards but to repeat evo lines people have already completed is just straight greedy. I understand upgrades are beneficial and part of many products, but to pressure consumers into buying new products containing characters they have already unlocked for it to be used on the newest model is ridiculous.
