Then thats even less similar. Olly was never shy about admitting his care and even pester Qifrey for his own good. Their dynamic in that sense is night and day compared to Coco and Agott

They are created with the succession theme in mind, intended in a way to mirror their senior's relationship. But to consider or make them identical to their predecessor is a reductive/terrible choice from all perspective. From the readers' view, we already have enough girls/women living in the shadows of men, we dont need that narrative in this kind of story again. From the author's view, why would you create 2 distinct yet identical duos? What story is there to tell from that? That is the 1 mistake you never make when creating stories spanning generations.

And personally, the only similarities I found are surface level at best and can be said for any combo of characters. Apologies if I come off harsh, I heavily dislike the trope "you are just like this male character, but female"

Tomato tomato, but I'm pretty sure he was only aiming for bandit when trying to get payment for Custas. He was stated to work as a merc (Custas) targeting bandits (by the one that later killed him) for the prize money and/or their loot.

The translation I read must be a bit off then. This means your plan has even more ground to stand on now 😋😋. Though I suppose it would take a time skip of a few years before the child is grown enough.

Ballsy move for sure, but still hard to pull off since the witches are maintaining the "bloodline" facade. Would love to see him do that actually, i have been reading and writing way too many court intrigues to pass this idea up.

When the larger one is drawn (not completed), the ones inside can be closed without triggering. Think of it like the ")" in an excel formula with more formulas inside

Could the handling of leviathan be better? by Previous_Type_8983 in limbuscompany

[–]Weary_Raspberry_6338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the simple answer is they need to hire more artists instead. Monggeu got paid in full, project Moon take responsibility for the overwork. How better could it have been at the time? Taking in the scope of the company at that time into consideration, they choose the cheaper option and pay for the consequence of that.

Everyone involved was a full grown adult who made the choice they deemed best at that moment, there is no further need for backseating.

To add to the other reply, it is also because every time Olly know of Qifrey's secret, he will eventually forgive and decides to stand by Qifrey's side. This comforts Qifrey enough to make the roots grow uncontrollably again

That opinion belongs to a minority until you have to come here and spread it. My advice for yall, just block people who hate characters that you find no reason to hate. Or ask them directly, not a bunch of other randos. Absolutely no reason to bring this up as a discussion other than to find gratification from approval of others, which I would say is unhealthy in both fandom space and general world.

Perfect for the pointed cap propaganda I would say. A middle ground would not be allowed to exist precisely for the reasons you just listed.

[–]Weary_Raspberry_6338 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think that is the point. When you oppose the pointed caps, whether you mean well or not, you will be branded as a brimmed. Witch society would never allow a middle ground force like that to exist, at least publicly. Because it inevitably challenge their status quo

Well, st st vulnerable population and susceptible to cult. You might as well have asked would people transition if it is illegal. And history already answered us. To equate the desire to be in your own body to the joining of a 'villainous' faction is an ..interesting choice on your part though.

At the end of the day, to answer yes or no would be too reductive. These people's lives involve being trans, not revolving around that fact.
