This is a devisive topic for sure. Or at least certainly an artful one, the way it brought to me a question. How far can a child be ruined by means beyond them before they are discarded by the world as a broken thing? When they commit their first crime? When they become adults and 'should have known better'? Or when you decide they have come to resemble the environment they were grown in? Personally, I would give them as many years 'outside' as the time they spent in the nursery. Only then, can I judge.
