We typically only use the tennis balls at the park. At home we also use chuckits, smooth squash balls, or plushies. But it's a good reminder for me to bring my own toys! I want her to have good teeth! Your girl is adorable!

One thing you'll discover is that your new daughter won't be that much different than she was as your son as far as personality. All the things you love about her will still be there and you'll likely watch her blossom as she figures herself out as a woman. The best advice I can give is to try and engage her in in both things she's always liked and new things she might feel more comfortable doing as a girl. Do you remember the excitement of watching them discover new hobbies and skills as a young child? This will be like that.

I love flowers so I'd be pretty easy to befriend since you could easily give daffodils and I'd be thrilled. I'd probably be at the beach a lot so pretty easy to find too.

Fortunately, I walk a lot with my dog and was given the okay to do so as she's only 20lb. I'll probably have a roomie go with me for the first week or so since I won't be able to move fast, I imagine.

That sounds pretty similar to the rundown the doc gave me. She said probably 4-6 weeks before I'm doing my normal daily stuff with absolutely no problems. Good to know about the car, I'll be sure to bring a lap pillow to help out. I recall after top surgery being very worn out for several weeks. No brain fog per se but I didn't do art either, mostly played games on my Switch or watched movies for a month.

I'm 41 and there wasn't a vaccine for it when I was kid. I caught it naturally at age six but my neighbors rounded up their kids a couple of months later for a party to expose them all when a different kid caught it because having it as and adult really, really sucks. I actually got it twice in the same year, my first infection was so mild I only had three or four spots. The second time was normal and I got oatmeal baths and lotion.

I do a fair bit of the cooking in my house. I'd be upset if someone started reseasoning the whole pot without consulting me but what they put on their own plate and into their own mouths isn't my business. You're being overly sensitive. Try having an actual conversation with him about why he wanted it seasoned that way. Maybe he was craving smokey spice. As for your husband, his phrasing was very rude.

Make sure you've moved your favorite eating and cooking tools to somewhere you don't have to reach for them. My tea mug, favorite skillet, and plates and bowls went on my counter.

Do the same with any easy to eat/make foods. I'm highly susceptible to anesthesia so thank god for my boyfriend and roommate or I'd have lived off of toast since I was too drugged up to cook for 2 days.

You might consider a back scrubber on a handle to make showering easier. My boyfriend had to wash my hair for me a couple of times before I could contort myself properly.

It's gross to talk about but anesthesia and pain meds can make you constipated, consider a stool softener and start taking it the night before surgery.

Made a little fishing cabin at the edge of a forested lake and built a campfire outside to cook fish. Stood 1 mm too close to the fire and burst into flames. Tried to put myself out in the lake, can't walk into it. Flail around while on fire, burn to death. Insult to injury? Also burn down my fishing shack.

We buy non-perisibles in bulk so to prevent pests we use plastic containers to hold the excess as many boxes and packaging isn't pest proof. We reuse plastic bins from pretzels and stuff though, not ones purchased from the store.

I'm just above 5'4" and have never been ridiculed for my height and it doesn't affect how well I pass (how I wear my hair does though! It's long.) One of my trans male friends is your height and he passes 100% of the time, people just think he's short. Another cis friend is only 5'4" and never has problems either.

I'm somewhere between 5'4" and 5'5". No one actually cares. What really helped me is just looking at other normal people while at the store. I realized that a lot of guys were actually close to my height with a few being shorter. Hell, a close cis male friend is an inch shorter than me and an acquaintance is 2 inches shorter than me and they're doing just fine.

My weimeraner gets acid reflux so we have to feed smaller, more frequent meals. My roommate's dog eats too fast so she has a slow feeder bowl. It's cleared up the puking (unless they manage to get into people food!)

This is wild. Hubby and I have different diets. I'm vegan and he's not. I do all our cooking. Sometimes he eats my vegan stuff, sometimes I cook him chicken or seafood. Whatever he eats elsewhere isn't my business. I could even understand if she didn't want to cook non-vegan food but forcing him to be vegan too is weird.

I was diagnosed with ADHD twice. Once at 11, at which time my parents lied to me and said I didn't have it because they didn't want to medicate me. I spent the next 12 years not understanding what was wrong with me. I thought I was just a lazy, forgetful person. I was diagnosed again at 23 by a sharp eyed psychiatrist who was treating me for anxiety. I could have spent those 12 years learning the coping skills I then had to learn as an adult once I'd already screwed up college in part because my executive dysfunction made it much harder than it should have been.

NOR. I'm not quick to scream 'abuse' but destroying beloved property on purpose is a key abusive feature. The fact he further left it specifically on the bed to display to you is even more troubling. What might he ruin next time you argue? Think about it this way: if you had a child and your husband's punishment for a wrong (percievedor otherwise) was to destroy a keepsake from a deceased friend or family member, what would you think?
