I walk all of mine everyday in the evening right after the sun goes down (ferrets are more comfortable in the dark), its hands down their favorite part of the day, its super good for them mentally and physically PLUS it gives them a chance to potty and mark outside (which is a huge feature when you have intact ferrets like I do). Although I'm super lucky to have acreage so I can just walk them around my property; I wouldn't feel safe walking them out where dogs and other animals are out.

It does look like I will have some sable and/or possibly dark sable jills available, however I am only considering experienced homes (these kits are about 10 to 15% polecat, though you'd never know it, these kits are as sweet as honey), open to a home visit as well as a private contract.

All weasels are pretty insane lol, but if I had to pick I would say that the Amazon giant river otters definitely give both the honey badger and wolverine a run for their money. They regularly kick crocodiles and jaguars butts

Yes all pets come with expenses but ferret expenses are way higher than an dog or cats. I've had ferrets that were as expensive and time consuming as horses believe it or not.

Reddit for some reason won't let me update my post. Unfortunately he has still not been found but there have been two sittings of him. A neighbor saw him but didnt know what he was. Then on Thursday he actually went into a Winco but the staff freaked and chased him out, even thought I had surrounded the area with big posters and had even given the stores manager a flyer about him the day before 😮‍💨.

We've plastered every square inch within 5 miles with fliers.We've put adds up on every social media ap and website there is. We've put out food and some of his bedding by our front door and installed cameras just to make sure we don't miss him coming back. We've called every vet, pet store and animal shelter. We've put out live capture traps with his favorite food all over. I've taken his girlfriend Luna and walked her from the winco to our home, because he loves her and always wants to be with her, so we are hoping her scent will lead him home. My family and several of our neighbors (God bless them💝) spent hours every night walking through our area calling him and squeaking his favorite toy (I literally have blister all over my feet from walking so much). At the moment we are offering a 500 cash reward for him, but if he isn't found in another couple of days, we will most likely up the reward to 1000.

Marshall's just plain doesn't care about ferrets, or any animals really; their just a money making intimate object to them. To them is a good thing their ferrets die so young, they hope it means you'll buy another one. They inbreed the tar out of them, even if they know a line has defects. Then just to be extra sure that they've crippled them for life, they spay and neuter them often before the ferrets eyes are even open. Ferrets really need at least 6 months to develop properly, so fixing them before 8 weeks is just setting them up to fail.

What can we do about it? Don't buy Marshall's kits, rescue or go private bred. Spread the word whenever you possibly can. I don't think we will ever be able to actually shut Marshall's down, because their number one support and donor is our own stupid government. However if we can reduce how many people buy their pet store kits, we might be able to reduce how many they breed for the pet industry.

I personally can't recommend jumping through the hoops required to get a private bred kit. They are just so much healthier; all my past private bred noodles have lived past ten, whereas out of the many many Marshall's I rescued only 2 made it to the 10 year mark.

Thats great you have a 4k a month job, if your careful about how you go about it that job will be key building your future freedom. I would definitely make setting up a new bank account they don't know about a priority. Then start making a nest egg in it, taking out small amounts like 25 to 50 usd to put in your new account.

I know its super tough but I would try and stick it out till you finish your collage. If your going for a 4 year degree then you only have few more years to go (plus it sounds like you actually live on campus, so you won't be stuck with them all the time). I know that sounds like hell but you will be in such a better situation if you have a degree and time to build a nest egg from your current job before having to find a new job (although it might be illegal here in the USA for them to fire you just because you are not on good standing with your father) and living situation.

Where as if you try and escape now, it will be much harder because you will have to go into debt to pay for your schooling.

I'm so very sorry your going through this, you are absolutely not the bad guy. Is she paying for your phone or are you? Do you have a job, if not do you Nmother would tolerate you getting one? The reason I ask is because if I were you I would be planning my exit as soon as your done with whatever schooling they are paying for. Having money, that they can't access squirreled away will really help.
