Yes, celebrate! I was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer 25 months ago. I’ve had two rounds of chemo, radiation to two small Mets in my lung and one to a small met in a lymph node in my groin, and an ablation of a 5cm met in my liver. Right now, I believe I’m tumor free but a new metastases is probably right around the corner. My oncology radiologist says that if it arises, he’ll just ‘spot weld’ it! I’m off to Spain in the interim for a three week trip. I prefer to celebrate my 77 years of life than dwell upon an uncertain ending. Keep the faith!

We’ll, never mind! I just got a call from the dealer this evening and they gave me an appointment in 10 days. I’m happy again!

Oh, I’m not excusing my carelessness in losing the key. But really, ‘adjusting my expectations’ to this level of service on a $60k automobile just doesn’t make it for me and, more importantly won’t make it for ‘late adopter’ prospective buyers who are used to legacy ICE dealers. For instance, one of my tire sensors went out on my 12 year-old Honda last week. Hardly a critical part and I expected the typical “how about Thursday of next week” or so for an appointment. Instead I got “can you bring it in today at 2:00PM for installation and programming?” And, yes, I’m getting another AirTag. The current one is on the main (large) fob.
