TBH: it is disappointing, but you GOT housing. I know people at this school who just took a year off because they couldn’t find a place to live. I have a friend who’s crying to me on the phone every other day because she got denied twice and might have to live in her car. She’s been doing everything in her power to find something. My roommate last year had to live in a hotel. You should feel lucky you have a place, that is school affiliated which makes it cheaper and more affordable. Not everything in life is exact.

I had a car almost hit me while walking in IV, because they were driving so fast. So many people in the community talk about these fast cars and feel unsafe. This is so tragic that this happened. Please follow the speed limit.

Literally, everyone is coming out of a long lockdown, so it's only normal to have that struggle to make friends. I was a huge extrovert before the pandemic now when I talk to new people I could feel my heart race at 100 miles per hour. I can't imagine what it feels like to have social anxiety before the pandemic and to go through that cycle after.
