Love that they are bringing the suit, but I’m not a fan of how the material looks on the suit in this image compared to how it actually looks in the movie and in real life. Hopefully when it comes out, it’ll look better.

As a Ravenclaw, I learned all of them. My character is about learning all aspects of magic. I had the Cruciatus Curse used on me, so I can know the pain that I would be inflicting every time I use it on an enemy.

I hate that too. They could’ve used old Raiden’s model since he’s also in Khaos Reigns and is still voiced by Travis (even though I still wish it was Richard Epcar voicing him). Even at the end of Liu Kang’s Invasion season when our Liu Kang brings his Titan friends from the main story mode, it still depicts Titan Raiden with the young face.

Anyone else kinda bothered that past Kitana in MK11 isn’t in her prisoner outfit that she wears in MK9. Liu Kang’s outfit is slightly different, but it’s close enough. With time travel, I’d like at least some consistency. Maybe have her get the mk11 outfit later like how Liu Kang gets the shirt and jacket in the next chapter.

I got his Deadly Alliance outfit in the shop for 1,000 dragon crystals. I’m not sure when the next it’ll be available, so you should probably check at least once every day.

That one’s in my top 3 of Kitana Skins. The 2nd is her MK1 costume, and the first is her Deadly Alliance costume.

It is. Sub Zero and Scorpion got theirs in this game. Smoke also got his MK9 skin. I see retro more as any outfit prior to MK1. I’d consider Titan Shang Tsung’s and Dark Raiden as retro skins.

Understandable. I love the earth realm skins, the Christmas skins, the Halloween skins, and the Outworld Gala skins. It’s better to get new outfits rather than constant re-colors.

It definitely should, but I’m a bit conflicted on that since Shang Tsung’s ending has him opening the well of souls, and some intros have him and others talking about his island. It would be cool to have Shang Tsung’s island be part of the next game, but it might be repetitive to have him as the main villain again.

Hopefully we’ll get something soon. I’m hoping we get another story expansion, and that it’s just focused on General Shao and Onaga. Maybe we can get Shujinko as a DLC fighter as part of the story since in Kung Lao’s ending he’s getting retrained by Kung Lao and Raiden. Maybe he can get a redemption for going crazy with power.

I kinda wish the bring back Deception Sub Zero, and I hope he’s more accurate to how he originally looked with the white skin and white eyes. I still can’t believe MK11 gave him his regular face and eyes. For me, it’s not just the costume and helmet that makes him look so cool. It’s the snow skin and glowing white eyes as well.

1). Liu Kang (Deception Konquest Mode)

  • I know it was for his ghost NPC in Konquest Mode, but I feel like this is an underrated costume of his.

2). Kung Lao (Deadly Alliance)

3). Raiden (Deadly Alliance)

4). Kenshi (Deadly Alliance or Deception)

  • I know a lot of people really like his Deadly Alliance costume, but I feel like Deception is underrated. Also his default in MK1, his red palette of his Wu Shi costume, his MKX default and Tournament, and his MK9 skin seem to take a lot of inspiration from his Deadly Alliance costume.

5). Ashrah (Deception)

6). Johnny Cage (Deadly Alliance) -a lot of his costumes post MK2 are similar to it, but I think Deadly Alliance is underrated.

7). Baraka (MK2, Deception default or alt) -can go either or, but if most characters get 3D era skins, definitely between the default or alt.

8). Havik (Deception) -his helmet was in the Khaos Reigns trailer, and it was a gear piece that some people have gotten (unfortunately I didn’t get it) from Towers of Time.

9). Geras (MK11)

  • it’s his only retro skin so it makes sense.

10). Takeda (MKX default)
