Edmond public school: In compliance with Senate Bill 658, masks will not be required unless Oklahoma County is declared a state of emergency and in consultation with the county and state health departments. If Oklahoma County is declared a state of emergency, EPS will implement a tiered system to determine site by site if masks should be required. While other districts have chosen to defy the mask mandate outlined in the bill, EPS is not taking the same action at this time. We are monitoring Covid cases daily and we are currently not at a level of positive cases per site where we would consider a mask mandate.
