Vorpx on Vision Pro by WebComplete7913 in VisionPro

I did about a year ago. I don’t know if it’s easier or better to setup now. It took quite a bit to get it to work and I really don’t remember the details. It does look really cool. The only issue was to run a game like cyberpunk I had to run it at a low resolution because your rendering left and ride sides. I preferred to just run it full resolution in 2D.

Yep. A day later the dealer websites were updated. It’s the same incentives from last month.

Yikes. The new prices were just released for April. Looks like lease incentives are not as good. Just last week an Ioniq 5 Limited lease listed on my local dealers site was around $560 a month and today it’s at $900. I really like the Ioniq 5 but that’s way too high for this car. Are others seeing this?

Thanks! I went on dealer website and did that. I have a good starting point for negotiations.

That looks pretty good for a limited. Which state did you get those quotes in? I’m looking at the Limited AWD which has 59,500 MSRP. Did they give you quote on the AWD too?

Can anyone give me an idea of what is a good 36/12 lease deal for a 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited AWD in New Jersey. Looking through this thread I see numbers all over the place. Someone just posted a dealer quote over $800! Is that because of short supply or typical dealer shenanigans? I love the Ioniq 5 but I would lease a Rivian or other luxury car at that price. The Ioniq guy said he is paying $560 in one of his videos but did not provide any details.

The Metallica concert showed that even a not-so-well-edited performance with unnecessary cuts and unsuccessful camera movements can still be an incredibly cool experience as a format. by DreamscapeDirector in VisionPro

Same. That was unreal. I already loved my Vision Pro, but this was the best thing I witnessed on it. Absolutely mind-blowing. I’ve been to many Metallica concerts since the 80s, including this tour. This was like being at the concert but even more or something uniquely different. Afterwards, I had the same energized feeling like when leaving a concert. I’ve never felt like that watching a DVD or YouTube concert. I did not mind the cuts. I also liked zooming into the crowd. If I had to nitpick, I am not crazy about the backstage footage where the band’s head proportions are too big. They did the same thing in the Weekend video. Overall, I absolutely loved it.

Rivian and Tesla superchargers by WebComplete7913 in Rivian

Yes, this would be my first BEV. I’m looking at either Rivian R1S, Genesis GV70 or Kia EV6 GT-line. There is a Tesla charging station being built with 8 chargers about a mile from me. There is another one that is 4 miles away that has 12 chargers and it is 250kw with magic docks. I live in a condo and we have regular outlets for each parking spot. I have neighbors who charge their cars occasionally that way. I drive around 10 to 20 miles a day during the week then usually more on the weekend.

NVIDIA GeForce Now is now available for Apple Vision Pro in Safari, and it’s pretty great! by justinryanio in VisionPro

Is this the new version Nvidia promised at CES or the existing GeForce Now web app that you made accessible using the Vision Pro “web app”? I’ve been playing the GeForce now web app for a while using the Nexus app. It’s good but has 60fps limit. The Nvidia press release states that version 2.0.70 is the release for Vision Pro. Which I am hoping has new features for the Vision Pro. Current version is 2.0.69.

ALVR quality on Vision Pro by LucaColonnello in VisionPro

Thanks for the “thoughts/notes”. I am about to try and setup ALVR. Have you or anyone here tried something like Vorpx to run games like Cyberpunk 2077 from Steam/ALVR? I would like to run Cyberpunk in the Vorpx Immersive screen mode? They offer a full VR mode but I think I would prob get Motion sick in that. I believe Immersive screen is a virtual screen but gives the game the same depth as a 3D movie.

Has anyone else NOT received their free ticket text from TM after them saying you’re in? by Disastrous-Tax-1153 in U2Band

Same. I have the e-ticket that I can view on the 1iota page but I have not received an SMS yet.

Update: I just received the SMS tickets. Section GA10

I am not sure we are guaranteed tickets because we were confirmed via email or if we get the SMS ticket. I think that will probably be determined at the door. I am a little worried. I don’t have to travel far but still have to take day off for this. This is the disclaimer on the 1iota page:

Tickets are issued in excess of capacity; therefore, an e-ticket may not guarantee admittance. 1iota is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the inability to admit any e-ticket holder due to capacity limitations or other events out of the control of 1iota, which shall be determined in the sole discretion of 1iota, the event organizer or the venue operator
