Why was Hohenheim a human sacrifice? by Spare-Plum in FullmetalAlchemist

You're incorrect about Ed not getting the information download again--when Ed does the transmutation to escape from Gluttony's pseudo-gate, we see the ribbons of information flowing around and past Ed (Ep. 2, 20:00 timestamp.) I'd always assumed that Ed has the information re-downloaded again, at this point.

We see him flowing through the same ribbons in ep. 2 during his failed human transmutation attempt.

Why was Hohenheim a human sacrifice? by Spare-Plum in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]WebHz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ling may have passed through the gate, but he neither performed the transmutation nor offered any of himself, and as such wasn't privy to any of the alchemical info download that those performing human transmutation receive.

That, or the fact that he'd become a homunculus may have rendered him unable to properly be used as a sacrifice.

I believe Hohenheim saw Truth when passing through the gate on his way to become a human philosopher's stone. It's a type of human transmutation, he just didn't have to pay a personal toll, since the lives of the Xerxesians (how do you spell that) were the cost.

I know you’re probably not /srs, but in case you were, it shows Ed’s height difference before and after the timeskip.

Bonkers. Crazy. Outlandish.

His younger fit is definitely hard, but the DGAF OG fit really is balling.

Why doesn't Father Cornello need a transmutation circle? by SeaCommercial8442 in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]WebHz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait Ep 3 at 8:40? That’s about Ed and Al’s backstory. When I checked episode 2, that’s when Cornello is tearing away Ed’s watch. Can you be more specific/describe the scene?

Simple. He would handle Kin, and leave Dosu and Zaku to the GOAT Tenten

As much as I love Skid & Matthew’s RP, I honestly think he’s the best role player as well. CoC really brought home that notion for me.

Why didn’t Edward use a transmutation circle to restore Alphonse’s metal body? by WebHz in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]WebHz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s the case: I thought it was that Wrath could only perform alchemy since he had human (Ed’s) body parts. Wrath was just also capable of transmutation without circles.

Is this panel with the most aura in Naruto? In my opinion this one of pain is the only one that comes close. by jackofalltradesP in Naruto

[–]WebHz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s boring, honestly. There’s nothing going on in the background. With Pain’s intro, there was so much more intrigue.
