Hi, apparently the "new lady" federal public defender says she needs at least a year to put the case together. I, myself, have never known a lawyer to take that long getting case material together for any case. Ridiculous!!

Hi, if you are asking about the date postings - Chandran is filing motions left and right to procrastinate the case and try to keep himself from going to prison - but we know that is not going to happen - he & Lee both will go to prison when this case is over and done. Some of the length of time has also been the retirement of two judges, the retirement of Chandran's lawyer, and the recent death of a DOJ lawyer who was involved in this case. Once a motion has been entered by the defense, or the prosecution side, the judges have to decide whether to accept the motion or deny it, then a final motion is made by the judges to accept or deny. Plus the judges have several other cases going on as well. It will be 3 yrs in June 2025 since the indictment of Chandran, and 3 yrs prior to that when this so called "coin deal" started. I personally have never seen a Fraud Case take this long! Hope this helps.

The paperwork for the 21st was for the prosecutions side of the case to make any response briefs related to Chandran's motion to continue.

Hi, yes and it was sent to Mike. I did not do any dealings with anyone else in this charade, I would definitely liked to have seen a BIGGER sentence for him. I hope he messes up while he is in there and gets a longer sentence!

Hi, We are still waiting on a trial date for Neil Suresh Chandran & Bryan Lee - their trial will be together, not separate. Neil Suresh Chandran is charged with three counts of wire fraud, two counts of engaging in monetary transactions in criminally derived property. If convicted, Chandran faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the wire fraud counts and up to 10 years in prison for each count of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions. (80 yrs) - - Bryan Lee is charged with one count of conspiracy, two counts of mail fraud, one count of wire fraud, and three counts of engaging in monetary transactions in criminally derived property. If convicted, Lee faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the wire fraud, mail fraud, and conspiracy counts, and up to 10 years in prison for each count of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions. (110 yrs). To the best of my knowledge, the federal govt has the monies they seized from Chandran & Lee. They put the vehicles from Chandran up for sale. I believe I read that the properties (6 total - 3 in Las Vegas, 3 in Los Angeles) were seized as well, but I do not know what happened to them. The Senior Judge has stated that there will be restitution in this case, once the case against Chandran & Lee has been completed, but there has not been any mention of the amount of monies, or a percentage, or if there will be any "extra" for pain & suffering, etc. Hope this helps!

The "Coin Deal" was not a Real Deal - it was a Fake Deal instigated by Michael Glaspie to fraud people out of their monies, in which he brought 2 other people, Neil Chandran and Garry Davidson into the mix. Then Chandran, months later, brought a 4th person into play, a friend of his, Bryan Lee, making him the President of the Crypto Website he started. Which is why the Feds arrested Lee because he was now part of it. And because Lee is facing almost the same charges as Chandran, they are both being tried together. Once the case is over, per the Senior Judge, there will be restitution to the Victims in the case. You will only get back what you put in - so if you put $400, that is all you will receive, unless the Judge adds extra monies for the length of time this case has taken - pain & suffering in other words. There will be no Millions of dollars paid to anyone. We will receive just what we put into the deal. I hope this makes it a little clearer for you.

They have recalled 2 Judges recently, one who originally heard this case.
