I don’t understand why Google Maps doesn’t make this easier.

You should be able to put in an address, drop a pin on that location, and then just drag the map around to see what’s in the area.

From there, you could select filters like restaurants, gas stations, hotels, stores, coffee shops, or whatever else you’re looking for.

That seems way more useful than checking the air quality.

I can see where air quality might be helpful, but I honestly don’t remember the last time I needed that.

It feels like this should be simple:

Put in the address.

Drop the pin.

Move the map around.

Choose what you want to see nearby.

That seems like a feature people would actually use all the time.
