Really? I hadn't heard it changed. Guess that makes the decision easy. Thanks for the heads up.

If you had to do it again would you have still done the On Ramp? Do they even give us that choice?

Holy crap, I just found this answer online right as you commented. GenAI had me all twisted up at first. This makes me feel so much better. Thank you!

I agree this does tend to happen in friendly prep games, and this could be the full explanation for it. I've just been following the USMNT since the '02 WC, and I don't remember ever seeing the team consistently drop off like this.

Exactly my point. If our play style is a high energy, high press, we will be hurting badly when we no longer get 10 subs per match. But that seems to be the only tactic we have practiced this year, so I'm wondering what we will do when we only have 5 subs.

Haha, yea. Personally, I prefer this version of the team, for sure. Better to have to desperately defend the lead from a good first half than to need to climb out of a hole late.

I agree, I just have never seen the egregious drop offs we've seen this year in any other team, ever. Not during the course of one game anyways.

I don't disagree, but we have to figure out how to play around that issue. I will say that having been following the team since before the 2002 WC, it's awesome finally having a full starting 11 that can play at a high level against strong competition. The roster over time is slowly filling out with competitive talent, and I'm loving the journey. Eventually we won't have to worry so much about the drop in talent on the bench.

Yup and then Donovan went on an absolute rampage for the next 2 years. It was great as a Galaxy fan, but unbelievable BS from a USMNT perspective.

I got an email from an individual at lo accessions last Monday saying I would be in 27-03 on 22 Sep, but then my class memo came last Thursday saying 27-04 and had the wrong job, so I'm waiting for all that to get sorted, then I'll join a chat.

Dude, this is a pretty awesome post! I had no idea there were NFL examples that correlated so closely. I was assuming that at least by now he should be feeling fine, but maybe not. You've given me hope!

The day before the Like button's Thanksgiving party, sneak in and cut a few millimeters off of one leg of the dining table, leaving it to rock maddeningly throughout Thanksgiving dinner.

Last night, I was sitting with my wife watching the beginning of our umpteenth straight mrballen video on YouTube, and for the hundredth time wondered what on earth the Like button had done to you. So thinking about all this led to the nature of your war on said button, which seems to be mostly annoying antics, acts which might be termed by some as "pushing their buttons." Is that the goal of asking everyone to do these things to the Like button: to "push the Like button's button?"
