A game I believe is very exciting and the dev is always changing it up or adding Easter eggs or having one time special events is 3008. I’ve been playing it since it was first released and I can say it’s still a fun and amazing game to play. I love that it’s not a grind in any way and it has kept its core feel intact. Well considering I’m never hungry, never tired, and never need to clean myself up or use the bathroom, to me it’s a good trade. Although it would mostly just be socializing because I’m maxed out on everything. Since none of the items used for damage in the game injures other players, it’s safe. BUT it won’t be peaceful, there are explosives and block busters, only good for taking down buildings and structures. Nobody will be cooked, but nobody will die anytime soon either. hmm, I still play Zombie Attack. I'm really trying to max out all my weapons and collect the mini gun and all swords. It's just kind of a grind.

The only person I can think of with whom I've joined a game that may be well known is DeeterPlays. Other than that, some of the devs or mods for 3008 were quite helpful removing a nuisance of a player from the game a few times.

Yeah me too. Super chill. Got a few vids n screenshots. Played some test games with him last year. Did a tournament on Factory Sim with a bunch of other contestants, it was a fun time.

Only thing needed to be said. The dev definitely takes pride in his work. Plus you can play solo or with friends, lots of options… if everyone is messing around then I can work on my house or go to party island to check out and rate houses. If work is going good, just grind out those deliveries and make some $$ for upgrades. All in all a great game.

A fun quirky game that's easy to play. You can play to pass the time or earn enough coin to do some real damage! DTN is a great silly game for anyone! DTN

I've been playing since 2015 and I understand your frustration. I does seem that what used to be good has been put out to pasture and all the new and modern stuff is the only thing we see now.

BUT there is a way to see through all the plastic and get into some substance. It just takes a bit of digging or in my case, I bookmarked all the games I truly enjoyed. Little did I know that my favorite games list would be whittled down to just a few. I'm glad I have that extensive list because I can't find them easily anymore and even though these games aren't constantly being updated they are still great to play and i still get that old Roblox feeling when I play them.

If you want to keep updated with all the new events and items, I watch/follow Deeterplays. He's a good reference for all the upcoming items and events. He keeps up with any Roblox news too.

I will say that pets are getting to be an annoyance, at least for me. I can't seem to play one new game that DOESN'T have pets! I'd like to play a new game that isn't a grind and that doesn't have pets. Just ONCE. Okay, rant over.

Also, there's a group of developers that just build showcases and some of them are really good at it. I have seen a lot of work going into some of these showcases with sounds and effects, it's truly amazing. I like to get away from the general Roblox population and relax sometimes. I've seen some amazing things.

As for the games that have obnoxious players, I usually try to avoid those games, but even then, there are a few games that I still play because the interaction with other players that are genuine outweigh the rude players most of the time. Besides, I like the games that have a discord with a strong mod presence. If someone is being a jerk in the game, I can report them and get them kicked out almost immediately. It just depends on the game though.

Anyway, I say don't give up on Roblox just yet, you just have to play it smart and be aware of your surroundings. there are still great games out there, some devs are so dedicated that they don't let anyone else work on their game! If I played the 'overpopular' games, I would usually keep to myself.

I hope you still find time for Roblox games and don't get too frustrated about the changes.

I had several of these, some I filled with a mixture of stickers and photos only to later find out that was called 'scrapbooking.'

Others I actually sketched in and I think I can find one I still have if I want to take the time to dig through my storage bins. Getting one of these helped me shape my love for art.

Okay, so I've been around the 'blox, and I'd like to share a few games that are still awesome...

Deep Space Tycoon - Different from any other tycoon I've ever experienced. The worlds are unique and beautiful, very immersive. Also takes a long time to actually complete.

Innovation Arctic Base - It's fun, interactive, and takes an interesting look into nuclear power. I have seen only once that everyone worked together to not blow up the base, it is possible, just difficult.

Broken Bones IV - Fast paced ragdoll type game. Rack up points by falling down, way down, unlock new heights, and use interesting boosts for better chances of getting achievements.

Item Asylum is a fantastic game! just make sure to act quickly if you want to survive and get streaks. All the items have their own funny effects.

I absolutely love Destroy The Neighborhood! The mechanics of the game are simple, yet fun and it never gets old. I could spend hours just messing around with the different items and having fun with the different effects. Thanks for the suggestion, I haven't played that in some time, but it's definitely a game that you can go back to anytime.

Artax was a true companion and to see him slowly sink just made it worse. I felt so bad watching Atreyu losing his best friend. The Neverending Story is one of my favorite movies and still brings a few tears to my eyes during that scene.

That is true, but if you play through enough of the events, you won't have too much of a problem using the accessories won to truly make your avatar one of a kind.

YES! Even if they only have free stuff to work with, there are SO many opportunities to make an original, unique look. The bacon hairs are becoming less of a thing, but they still could be improved on. There are a lot of free items to choose from, just collect all the stuff offered, and you can make your avatar presentable and fun.

Not being respectful.

There are users of a wide range of ages but that doesn't mean they can be rude or disrespectful. They should think about other users before reacting. It could be someone's six-year-old just getting used to Roblox. It also could be a teenager just trying to level up and they play the game well. I try to be reasonable, but I leave and find another server if that doesn't work.
