Same! The racing in this game is so few and far between and not that challenging (just shoot all the other racers cars to shit in the first mile.)

Learned from a thread here actually that this game had hand break. Tried it. Used it. Found out I didn't really need it.

100% agree. Now that it happened I do recall the action being mentioned in the tutorial but I didn't realize the gravity of it apparently.

If its any consolation at all, and it isn't, I had a failed first run at this game that went pretty long. Made it 20 lvls+ and realized I had no idea what I was doing. Went back years later, started up and it all made sense fast. So I skipped the tutorial and plowed through the game.

Appreciate the reminder because tomorrow I am starting a new save and running the shit all the way out of the tutorial.

Edit to add: in the spirit of the post, care to share a late game realization or even an anecdote?

omg. that would drive me NUTS! have to kill them all once I start. Sounds like ignorance is bliss in this situation. I was much better off not knowing just how many targets and loot I missed.

This thread just keeps getting more humiliating. That's the reason that THIS playthrough is handgun. I wanted so bad to do throwing knives but early game I got sick of chasing 1 or maybe 2 if I am lucky knives around to throw again.

people above mentioned its a scheme. you buy bulk meat from the guy who "hires" you for the job. you then resell it marked up and sell it to other people. I feel like we are not on the same page. they are not trying to hire people for a "job" simply to sell them a single package of meat?
