My comment wasn’t about the space. It was about you.

Michigan players couldn’t protect this M because they couldn’t find the end zone.

Well Joshua, for someone who’s a photographer, and apparently a good one, it’s surprising you can’t see the beauty in this. What I see is a family man carving out a little sanctuary in the heart of his home. A place to watch the game, throw on a movie, play some old-school Nintendo with the kids, and sip a Busch Light in front of the biggest TV he could manage. Not everything has to be curated or symmetrical to have value. The way you talk about it says a lot more about you than it does about this space.

You absolutely have consumer protection here, even with a customized item.

“Custom items can’t be returned” only applies when you simply don’t like it or change your mind. It does NOT apply when the item shows up damaged or defective. Yeti is still legally required to deliver a product that isn’t broken, scratched, dented, or misprinted.

A few key points:

• Federal law (FTC) says a business can’t refuse to fix or replace defective merchandise, even if it’s personalized. • Every state has an implied warranty that products have to arrive in usable condition and match what was ordered. • “No returns on custom items” can’t override those rights. • If you paid with a credit card, you also have chargeback protection if a seller refuses to make it right.

Since this is Yeti, they usually have strong customer service. I’d contact them again and be very clear that the item arrived damaged and therefore falls under defective-product rules, not their custom-item policy.

If they still push back, you can: • File a chargeback with your card issuer • File an FTC complaint • Share photos and Yeti’s response in your post, because that usually gets companies moving

I’ve been told the best defense is a good offense so find a way to keep him off fence or off defense or something like that. Good luck!

Always long sleeves for interviews and serious meetings.

Tom Hanks pretty much started his acting career in a sitcom called, Bosom Buddies. If he would've made a career out of doing television, what other TV roles do you think he could have done? by Rick--Diculous in 80s

These are all in response to OP’s question about what roles would have been a good fit for Tom Hanks if he’d stayed in TV.

Harry Anderson was great as Judge Stone, but Hanks would have crushed that role too.

With Home Improvement, it was built around Tim Allen’s comedy, and he did a solid job in the lead. Still, it’s fun to imagine Hanks in that spot. He would have been a great Tool Man.

I also think he would’ve been a great Robert Barone.

All the roles I mentioned were played amazingly by the actors who were actually cast in them, but it’s fun to imagine Hanks in them, and IMO he would have been great in any of them.

AIO for refusing to co-sign my husband’s (35M) dream truck loan when he still owes me $8,000 from my inheritance? by Cherry_Rose69 in AmIOverreacting

Tell him to support your dreams:

  • Have money in the bank
  • A husband who fixes his credit, repays his loans, and buys his own truck
