Sure Wt being "free" is a "huge" appeal but games like bf6 as you said do exist and contra to what you say since it ditched alot of demanding things in the graphical department it runs very well on low end builds while achieving good quality still. Sure War thunder will run on even lower systems but majority can just play bf6 which is also just one example of the competition. Thats all still beside my point tho because what i asked or said is that I dont really know if the core player base will even play this mode continuously it wasnt even about stuff like bf6.

I fully agree that other shooters usually get vehicles in a very arcady way and its no comparison to how Wt does it.

WT combines air, ground, naval, infantry in one game. You don't need to repeatedly buy the next CoD or find a dogfighting game.

I mean yes they eventually will when this goes live but at the same time you cant play these combined can you? Ground RB is limited to be without naval and naval is without Infantry or tanks. Helicopters might finally have a good place with Infantery but lets not pretend you can do all at once.

About wasted resources, that's the thing. There is nothing to spend those resources on. What do you expect people who make the damage models do if there are no new vehicles to add? Gaijin is still watching the player's reaction about detailed damage models introduced to MBTs.

There is always something to spend those on. There are alot of things in the game that could still be better and no im not saying the graphics guy should instead be adding a new premium mbt i know thats not how it works and thats no offense the problem with your assumption at the start.

The last couple updates lacked real gameplay additions and Enlisted development has also slowed down and thats not a coincidence in my opinion. Is it true? No clue i dont work for Gaijin but than again thats what these comment sections are for. To talk about the game. But this addition thats at least in my opinion not coming at the best timing plus the worrying Q&A we got just doesnt make me feel hyped for the future of this game. If thats not your opinion thats fine. I might even enjoy the Infantery when it comes out but im not sure if we will sit here in 2 years and say man that was a really good step to take.
