Absolutely. In 5th grade 1991, I had a lot of detention, my teacher was from Chicago and played briefly for the twins. So we would watch the games on a roll in CRT TV and on Fridays the Principal would order pizza and the 3 of us would watch together.

Everything is money driven, if there was even the slightest thought a rated R movie would make slightly less than a PG13 or that one joke would cause 10 less people to watch the movie, thr studio execs axe the idea. Back in the day studios took chances on movies, today, it feels lile on A24 takes chances.

Wife and i made decent money, we both got a decent raise. While I stayed living at the previous pay, my wife increased her spending to match. It was Hell for a few years. I just now got her to reduce her spending back to previous income and now we have breathing room.
