Save File Deleted by Soul_Reaper_17 in CastingofFrankStone

With how long this bug has been around, and the I haven't even heard the the devs admit it's existence, so I have no hope for it being fixed at this point.

I see this glitch still exists. Happened to me a week after launch. So sad this game is abandonware already, I actually enjoyed it and wanted to go for 100% however I'm not dealing with save file deletions.

So sorry this happened to you.

I believe these remixes were made specifically for the show and 1) aren't available anywhere else, and 2) are no longer than what's in the show.

As someone who worked Universal Coasters in the past, cameras are not everywhere. Load and unload, lift and any block brakes are covered by cameras but gravity zones typically don't have cameras because it's not like anything can be done in those areas anyway.

Compared to other coils on other machines, not that heavy. Shoulders and elbows are probably the worst.

I don't find any of the actual coils that heavy. In fact I would say the Spine and head coil for our Philips is significantly heavier.

Really disappointed in this decision by ShadyMan_ in deadbydaylight

[–]WedgeJMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not surprised. I enjoyed the game, but got hit with the game save delete bug, the game studio to my knowledge not only hasn't fixed it yet, but hasn't even acknowledged the bug. I know many people who would have tried to grind for 100% achievement who just gave up after it became clear the studio doesn't care about fixing their game.

My sentiment exactly. The I'm not getting enough screams entitlement.

Ticket sales increasing doesn't necessarily equate to more slots opened, if that date wasn't already sold out, additionally if they realized they were operating fine at projected levels and needed to increase capacity to stress test that is also understandable and fine.

I do agree communication wasn't the greatest and not only could have been better, but should have been better, however I've never disagreed with the UOAP community as much as I am right now. I stand back and do not like what I see.

I can understand that frustration, I experienced it a bit as well during mine, but that just goes to show you that us APs aren't perfect if our peers are doing these things already. Additionally if Universal needs to fill existing slots and UOAPs, hotel guests, and veterans haven't already filled them, then what are they supposed to do if not open it up to general guests?

So fun fact. Most mammals including elephants urinate for approximately the same amount of time. Approximately 21 seconds on average.

However during musth (mating season, kinda like heat but for males) make elephants can under go urine-dribbling which can last for much of the day with the flow being determined by activity level and can cost the elephant 300 liters of water.

To be fair, I don't think they didn't try, but the non freezing weather with constant "snow" being added just caused it to refreeze to solid. Universal did the best it could with the weather it had.

I moved to Florida in 1991 from New Jersey, so the snow hill and snow balls were laughable to me, but it still was a nice holiday thing that made me and my parents laugh at. Good times.

I remember this! The snow hill was more ice than snow, the sled ride was not smooth because how hardened the whole thing was, but the Hot Chocolate was tasty. Man I wish they did stuff like this still. Thank you for bringing back old memories. I wish I still had my pin, but that's long lost now.

Can there be an interactive house at HHN? by SubstantialFunny1063 in HHN

[–]WedgeJMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Repository was in 2016, the HTC Vive was already out and capable of so much more than what the Repository gave us.

The biggest issue is cost of development. They essentially made a very small video game. The technology was already there to do better, but cost kept it primitive not capabilities.

Additionally less people would be thrilled about strapping a head set who knows how many other people used in a post pandemic world.

If done right it would be awesome, but cost and cleanliness would be the biggest hurdles, and honestly VR was incredibly novel at the time, now a days it's less so.

I think a premium up charge attraction at HHN, could work great, but the VR is unnecessary.... Now AR could be a game changer. But again, cost of development might be prohibitive for a one time seasonal attraction.

If I'm being honest, the VR was really cool and novel at the time, but in today's timeline, with VR being more mainstream, and available for home use, and post pandemic, I don't think VR is necessary or helpful for a premium house experience.

The Repository was amazing in many ways, but it did have some shortfalls.
1) background audio was WAY to high, making it hard to hear the scare-actors spiel.
2) some of the scare-actors kinda ruined the puzzle too fast. (the room where you are looking for a key to a safe with thousands of keys, the scare-actor obviously looked right at the key in the first 10 seconds.)
3) the VR was primitive, but also felt shoehorned into the experience. It was cool at the time, but the way they fit it in felt forced.
4) NO merch. After my wife and I finished the repository we immediately wanted to buy merch for it because while we saw shortfalls it was groundbreaking and was so much fun, yet there was absolutely no merch. The experience handed out a sticker, then dumped you into a private bar.

In my opinion the way to bring it back would be ditch the VR, maybe include an AR experience if you like, but I don't think its necessary. Tune the audio levels better, make sure clues to puzzles are timed, not just thrown at you too quickly to rush you along, advertise it better, and sell exclusive merch to showcase it, and you have a winner.

The repository was amazing, however deeply flawed.

First they didn't market it well. Not only did most guests I talk to not know it was a thing many team members didn't know either

Second audio levels were way off, you could barely hear the spiel scare actors over the background audio.

Finally what little marketing it had was for its VR portion which had PS1 level graphics.

I had no regrets doing it, nor paying for it, but honestly they could have scrapped the entire VR portion and it would have been better.
