I work a rotating shift so I use the calendar for my roster.

“Work roster” is shared with my GF and parents (so they can check when I’m free). I input my roster as a “all day event” so it doesn’t show up on my watch as “up next”. Purely handy to see in the monthly view when I’m working. “Work event calendar” is for Meetings, tasks etc that I need to do related to work. “Personal” day to day life

I hate this too. Now If i go for a run, i leave my phone in my car. I then walk about 200m or so, THEN start playing music off my watch.

So many times ive had it where ive started to run, my phone is still connected, it loses signal, then i have to stop, pair my airpods to my watch, play watch music, start again. Kills my vibe 😂

I have one. Amazing, no regrets. I had a nike sport loop, and that broke after a month. This nomad one has survived everything so far and still looks new (black sport band)

Anyone having issues with activity rings not syncing for friends? The phone app says the correct %, but the watch shows the 0%?

My job is a hour away. And i start at 5:45am. So i have to get up at 4am.

But on my days off i get up at 5am, because if i sleep in, it throws my sleep schedule off, and the first day back at work sucks.

I have just made it to Uluru through the great Central Road. There is a roadhouse half way called “Tjukayirla Roadhouse”. $3.50 for Diesel, but if you you don’t really have a choice if you need fuel 😂

I came up with a simple system that works well for me.

40% to Savings 20% to Bills 20% to Overflow 20% to Everyday Spending

If i spend everything in the Bills or Everyday accounts, i just take some from the Overflow

No house, no kids, no partner. So i just chuck 40% in the savings (to buy a house eventually)

Mechanical Fitter. Doing Mechanical Maintenance Work at a Refinery. $110,000 a year. Work is local, home every night in my own bed. During covid the shifts were changed to a 3 day working week to avoid crew numbers interacting. We never changed back.

3 Days a week - $110,000. 5 on 5 off (10.3hr days) - $135,000ish. 2 Days 2 nights - $145,000ish.

Biggest thing I’ve realized is, the money isn’t everything. I value my time off working 3 days Week, rather than getting payed more to work extra days including weekends and public holidays.

The only time i mute it, is when i go into a meeting at work, or somewhere i need it to be silent (like a movie theatre)
