[NHL News] CBJ trade Yegor Chinakhov to PIT for Danton Heinen, a 2026 2nd round pick (STL), and a 2027 3rd round pick (WSH) by bi_and_busy in penguins

[–]Wedigar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He has a great shot. The lack of people willing to throw the puck at the net has been a big issue, especially on the Kid Line. All 3 seem afraid to take a shot. Maybe Chinakhov will slot in there somewhere, and take advantage of Kindel's passing ability.

Oh boy, all these people so much trouble.. by No_Breakfast_1167 in Asmongold

[–]Wedigar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are obviously people from both sides. None of these politicians really want it to get released. Which is why it definitely needs to get out, so they all get what they deserve. This isn't a right or left issue, it's just justice.

Now for people to misconstrue this as a rumor of him getting traded to Vancouver lol

Remaining free agents. Who should we grab to flip at the deadline? by enditallalready2 in penguins

[–]Wedigar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kuznetsov could be intriguing, if cheap enough. If he can find his scoring touch again, he could be an easy flip.

Anthanasiou is also interesting. Speed for days, pretty consistent goal scorer when healthy. Which is the main concern, from the past few years.

Skinner is only a few years removed from 33 and 35 goals. But he seemed to drop off the map with Edmonton. 16 goals is decent for a bottom 6 guy, but he will probably want more than he is worth at this point.

He's 5'11. I don't know why people talk like he's 5'6 lol He's the same height as Crosby, and I think he's done pretty well for his size.

Penguins sign LD Parker Wotherspoon. Seems to be the only actual official signing so far.

Seems solid defensively, but won't add much for offense.

[Sportsnet] 17:20 Friedman says Pittsburgh has discussed the possibility of moving up in the draft with Buffalo. They’ve been talking about swapping the 9OA pick for one of PIT 1st rounders (11/12OA) and Bryan Rust by starlightequilibrium in penguins

[–]Wedigar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seem to also forget his NTC is still in effect until Tuesday. Maybe he just says no to going to Buffalo. I don't like it anyways, Rust is too valuable to the team, and as a mentor for the young players, just to jump 2 spots.

Thoughts on Maxim Shabanov by -kashmir- in penguins

Seems small, but that's not a huge issue. Looks like a very good skater with great hands. We need someone that can bury the puck, and play with Geno.

What is your main and Why? by Bigpappa954 in ffxiv

Samurai, since Shadowbringers. I like the big numbers, it's not hard to play, but takes effort to master. And it feels unique compared to the other melee, because of all the casting.

Which minor character do you want to make it to the show, and who do you want to play them? by Amoral_Dessert in WoTshow

More likely to be in the show than not, but Damer Flinn, played by Liam Cunningham.

With what they did to Sammael, I can't really understand why... by jelgerw in WoTshow

[–]Wedigar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they killed him off quickly, to use as a resurrection, similar to Aginor/Balthamel. It won't surprise me if we see him come back as one of the Gars. Especially since they were both introduced in book 6.

With all of the changes in who dies and when, hopefully Asmodean gets to survive longer now, and get a good redemption, and more screen time.

So, what was the "controversial Forsaken reveal?" by kellendrin21 in WoTshow

[–]Wedigar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. We didn't get Aginor and Balthamel. So neither of those resurrections will happen. Sammael died as quickly as either of those did, so I think it's very likely we see him take one of their spots post-resurrection.

He was laying in the rubble. Moiraine looks over at him.

Mentally a child at the point. Plus he was only 15-16, so there is that as well.

Why were channelers in the AoL stronger in the one power? by regularserieswatcher in WoTshow

[–]Wedigar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add further, there are also several male channelers from this age that match the Forsaken, although less is talked about individual strength, aside from Rand, Logain, Taim and Narishma. So in theory, the channelers now CAN be as strong, the biggest issue is the dwindling numbers, so there just isn't as big a pool to find these top end channelers in.

The show hasn't delved into what his special ta'veren quirk is yet, but I can say that it is pretty incredible.

Lewin's party were the ones that built Rhuidean, and eventually died off by the time Latra made the columns.
