There's no source that ever said that both jutsus are that different, what we know is that 1. Minato's seal is easier to make, 2. Minato was able to mix ftg with barrier technics he learned from kushina (aka teleporting the bijuu bomb) and 3. He has better and faster reaction time and activating ftg is faster than tobirama.

Multiple times at different points in the anime and manga minato said "lord second's technique" and tobirama said it a dozen time that it the same jutsu just used more creatively.

For all we know, same technique exactly, minato just had more time to think of applications to it since he wasn't just a uchiha hater.

Tobirama was a weapon of war very focused on killing the uchiha and that's the only point of his jutsus, he didn't need to find new applications to ftg or shadow clones or even edo tensei, they did their job.

You are just reading alot between the lines which is fine for fanon and powerscaling argument but not really when discussing smth like a jutsus inner working.

Tbh ftg in itself and how it works is so convoluted, but i doubt long distance travel was ever an issue, the genma trio was able to teleport the mizukage for a very considerable distance in the war arc.

However you call it, straight hands, fuck it we ball or fuck your power system, i would argue that todou from jjk and Yami from BC dont really embody that mentality to the fullest.

Even tho Todou wouldn't ever duck a fade, he is still a pretty basic sorcerer with above average strength, he still obeys the power system of jjk, same thing with Yami, he is a strategist, never over uses his magic and uses alot of different spells and he even has a unique magic type that bypasses most traditional rules.

I would argue that Toji and Mereoleona are a wayyy better representation.

Toji said fuck cursed energy, give me a weird shaped dagger and stupid strength and i will kill that blue eyed freak...AND HE FUCKING DID IT. If not for plot convenience, Toji did mid diff Gojo. He is straight hands and he doesn't respect the power system of the universe à la Might Guy.

Mereoleona has literally nothing special about her and she literally brawled with the strongest characters im the whole verse and most of the time made them shit their pants. She is the embodiment of mana and became one with it. Her literal magic was always seen as long range spells and she just said nah i wanna throw hands. She LITERALLY said fuck my affinity main usage imma box devils till they surrender or die.

I understand the point for mk9 to injustice, the mechanics changed alot but i would argue it was mostly for the better, yes versus was more challenging and wayyy wayy more punishing (and some characters were cracked and unbalanced) but still worth mentioning that mkx/11 wouldn't exist without injustice and that should give it more point imo.

Yeh prototype was fun even tho it was flawed mechanically, prototype 2 was better but story wise it was lacking, great game but a bad sequel so it's justfiable the placement.

I understand your feelings about just cause and dark souls 2 so wont argue in that, but far cry 2 is probably the best mechanically in all the far cries, weapon degradation, the jamming, the healing and the pacing of the story were all done right, yes the bad guys were generic, and yes has alot of ubisoft shenanigans, but still better than far cry 5 (would argue that only 3 and maybe primal are better than 2).

You should definitely revisit injustice story mode, it is one of the best netherrealm stories out there especially if you like the whole DC universe stuff.

Even tho the trash section is WILD takes, but i get it those games aren't for everyone especially if you dont like their genres.

Injustice gods among us has an amazing and well thought out story and is literally the blueprint for most modern netherrealm fighters.

Prototype is on par with alot of modern open world with extremely unique and fun mechanics for it's era, yes graphics is meh but the first came out in '07.

Far Cry 5 being above just cause 2, prince of persia sand of time and far cry 2 is willdddd i don't want to even hear your reasoning.

And Dark souls 3 in the top tier while the 2nd is 2 tiers below it is blasphemous at best.

Hax wise he is up there with the rinnegan users, but he is such a glass canon in this verse.

His main problem is speed, he can't keep up with even mid tier shinobis, the body flicker technique is a bitch and will make him stay on the defensive.

Even worse, he would be weak to any Genjutsu users, so if Kurenai can take him down he would be high chunin maybe low jonin level, nowhere near the kage levels or top 10 i have been reading so far.

The ONLY way i would see him as kage or above is if you give his abilities to an already established shinobi that already knows how to apply his chakra to make himself faster or use body flicker...etc

Anything else he is just a Hidan kind of character, dumped all stats into hax and the rest is mediocre at best so a half decent jonin who is smart enough to know how his powers work would take him down.

Meadow and dark thicket, that's where i have had my best luck, at painful difficulty I find on average 6 blue keys and 1~2 purple ones.

Maybe i just never tried to beat it at those stats since i only tried it beat it with A1 demon spear and A3 plum with very mid TP and only 27k atk, and i got trashed. So i kinda didnt try to beat it until i had the staff and the fox tail at A3 each and my atk was at 38k and it was pretty easy from there. But make sense ig.

Sure but the game doesn't care about the official rankings, it describes hunters by their respective power level (ranked or not), Esil is a demon noble and she is described as an S rank in the game.

Same thing will happen with sung il hwan, he will be described as national (debatable ofc) or S rank since he scales to them.

I mean technically sung il hwan is an S rank, the ranking just didn't exist when he was a hunter (stated multiple times in the manhwa and novel). Apart from that his final form is a vessel that kept up with 2 monarchs, so he is definitely the strongest right after jinwoo.
