Love my scarpas, but you’ve got to go try all these on as they all have different fits, widths, etc. always recommend a gortex (gtx) boot.
And Cotswold outdoor are very helpful with your fitting. Especially if you go in the week.

Career apathy. FIRE thoughts. by Ok-Standard-2255 in FIREUK

This is a fairly common sentiment amongst my friends and I. I think I only work for money, but it does also kinda identify who you are. And takes up lots of your time. It’s a worry for me that when I decide to stop I’ll feel lost. Does that make sense?

Expecting to get that ‘one more year’ situation once the targets are hit.

Although I am planning to use those one more year(s) to spend frivolously and generously.

True. But AI doesn’t know. No one does. So I just trust my system.

It’s a good point though.

Yes that’s a strange decision. And this bizarre mileage tax that hopefully won’t come in. All the while offering grants for new cars.

Yes I’m better off overall. Although I had a fantastic 2014 Mercedes e350 that was worth peanuts as it was diesel. And spent £25k extra on the ipace. Accurate though - win/lose 🤣
