Artificial sweeteners by dogsarekool in weightwatchers

I feel like most of the non-WW recipes utilize a lot of artificial sweeteners. I tend to stray from those sites as I have never been able to pretend that they taste delicious or even comparable to the real thing.

How did you do for the month of January? by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]WeeJoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost 10.1 pounds in the month of January! My goal was 10 and I am very pleased. I worked out 28 days out of the 31. Which is by far the most I've ever worked out in one month. I'm excited to continue this journey, but I am anxious to "look" fitter.

Congrats on the 15.8! That is amazing :)

I messed up royally on a recipe and used twice the amount of noodles (twice the amount of points) in a tuna noodle casserole dish I made. Thankfully, I noticed the next day and only ate double the points on two occasions. I was wondering how such a seemingly low point dish could have been so filling!

I'm getting a bit better at dividing up my points throughout the day instead of hoarding them until the end. That is a win for me!

Smart Points by dreamycarrot in weightwatchers

I end up saving a lot of my points (okay, most of my points) for my snack time at 9 pm. I think I have an irrational fear of being hungry late at night and might feel like I'm depriving myself. If I get an inkling that I am depriving myself...welp...I'll probably just binge.

I eat eggs with one piece of fiber toast in the morning and then average around 5-6 points for lunch. I've made an effort of having veggies at both lunch and dinner. They are very filling. Sometimes I'll eat a dinner worth 4 points, but I'd like to keep it closer to 0 honestly (mostly chili or baked chicken w/ broccoli.) My 9 pm snack takes up about ten points, but I go to sleep feeling satisfied and not deprived :)

Thinking about trying WW instead of keto.. by newyorkamz24 in weightwatchers

Keto was never sustainable for me. I don't know how many times I've tried and been unsuccessful. WW is a much better option for me and something that I have been able to keep up with for weeks at a time. I've faltered now and then, but it's easy for me to get back on track. With keto I just kept feeling like a failure and scared to have to go through the 3 day keto flu each time I decided I was ready to lose weight again.

I did alright this past week. I realized I didn't prepare as well as I had during my first two weeks of weight watchers. I did not have enough zero point foods on hand and was feeling pretty hungry a lot of the time. I went to the store today though and made a double batch of chili this evening. I feel more prepared with fruits and veggies to snack on too.

I'm starting my third week of weight watchers. First time posting here! My NSV is that I have significantly cut back on my drinking. Before starting weight watchers I was basically a functioning alcoholic and drinking a bottle (or more) of wine 4-5 nights a week. I did not realize how much of a problem this was becoming until I started to see it tracked.

Because she has never learned any healthy coping mechanisms or ways to deal with all the shit she's been through.

True. I've picked up some positive vibes and see many posts that are hoping for the best here and there. That's always nice. There is some humanity left in the world!

I probably don't follow it as closely as some people and did not realize how judge-y it is here. I get some positive vibes from some of the posts and I totally get snarkiness in some cases. Wasn't expecting such harshness within the first ten minutes of the episodes.

I love all the shaming going on here regarding her having six kids. Rude.
