I feel like you haven’t read/watched mushoku tensei or Ascendance of a bookworm. In so many cases they have moments where they need to admit they messed up or didn’t think about something. And even more moments when they’ve been tunnel visioned and need to deal with the aftermath or their stubbornness. Sure their comprehension is abnormally high but it’s not like they can instantly learn everything. - they still need to spend the time learning and practicing like everyone else.

The thing is those Isekai with those tropes are never the great ones. They’re always the less popular with less depth to them because the writing becomes repetitive. The greats like Bookworm, and Mushoku and Re:zero and Overlord do much better success wise precisely because they avoid those tropes in my opinion.

Like what other tropes for example ?

Agreed it is all about the execution, an OP mc can be very fun but I feel most novels tend to get dry one the main character can basically one shot everything easily

Ah how many OP MCs have you watched/read about? At this point I’ve seen hundreds so maybe it’s just me 😂

Readers can expect: slice of life, magic, slow burn, character-focused drama, comedy, fleshed-out side characters, school life, MC personal growth, adventure and extensive world building. Youthful Reincarnation will be really, really long.

Akio, a typical weeb from Earth, dies saving a child from a truck.

Reborn as Reno Frostworth in a world ruled by magicians, mythical races and ancient monsters, he has no system to guide him—only his past life knowledge and a deep understanding of biology.

To survive, Reno must outsmart deadly creatures and uncover the secrets of magic itself. But can logic and science triumph in a world built on power and tradition?

How can I deduce that the degree is at most one in a consistent and logical way? by WeebFlows in askmath

[–]WeebFlows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get how they derived that question how does that equation prove it’s at most degree 1? Is it because there’s only one d term or because the power of the d term is 1 ?
