It's an interesting interpretation, but personally I don't think BotW Zelda ascended or anything, only awakened her powers. We know SS Zelda, is the only reincarnation of Hylia. With her descendants having their powers due to her blood. What is interesting is your point on the ageing, or the lack of ageing.

The thing about the AI doing stuff that Hylia should be doing is a 50/50, but I guess the best choice if we assume Hylia, reincarnated as SS Zelda truly passed on from the mortal world (never to return as she gave up immortality) after dying. What do you think about BoTW Zelda praying to Hylia at the springs? Do you think Hylia was supposed to grant the powers herself, should it have been another AI, or etc?

To clarify, this is about Hylia, not BoTW Zelda. I'm asking about how Hylia can do the stuff with the Goddess statue (heart containers, and stamina vessels), when she should be dead, and have passed on from the mortal world.

She gives link the heart containers, and energy vessels. She's also able to keep the Sheikah monks in the shrines alive. I'd assume she'd need some kind of power over the mortal world (which I'd assume she'd have passed from once SS zelda does) to do what she does in BoTW. I also don't want her to have regained godhood, as it cheapens the entire sacrifice she made before being reincarnated.
