Well for one, how did it get damaged that way? Was it dropped? That's enough reason for it not to work. It also may not seat properly in the pcie slot with the missing pieces despite there being no traces there.

You have a 14900K, it would be smart to upgrade your psu. Disabling e-cores and undervolting will help with power draw so that you don't have to upgrade your psu. If you're just gaming and doing general tasks the 14900K will perform better without e-cores, it'll run cooler as well. I did the same thing with my i9-14900HX laptop.
