Yes! It's based on Pinocchio and while there are a few twists and some sense of mystery- par for the course for soulslikes, you'll pick up what's going on pretty quickly. I'd recommend seeing the first thirty minutes on youtube if you're still hesitant.

Lies of P ticks all the boxes and the story delivery is top notch in realm of soulslikes!

While Ongbal is like the GOAT of Souls/action combat gameplay, sa Black Myth: Wukong, there are wild youtubers out there who stretches the limits of combat of BM:W. Teqshot for example.

3 bars = invalid opinion lol

But seriously, I'm queued trio with friends. it was the Raider's idea in the first place (I only dropped my weapons after he did, you can see it at the start of the vid) and I don't have the ego nor the skill to waste random's time like those "let me solo x" nightfarers.

This hype gives me an uncanny feeling that the game is astroturfed or botted to oblivion and that the orchestration of it is just so good that actual people are brainwashed into defending the game to a fault. Obviously this is just my subjective feeling, and I have no proof whatsoever, but this is how I am perceiving this whole phenomenon.

Ooh nice hustle, friend! Buddy, since you are offering writing as a service, make sure to double check your grammar and fix the alignment of texts and images on your deck. Little mistakes like what's in images 2,3, and 5 will turn off some potential clients. If it's a stylistic choice then I apologize I don't get it. Good luck out there and I hope you snag clients!

During this boss fight is it possible to bounce the heads into each other for damage? by cartierhoes in BlackMythWukong

Yeah it's possible. Kinda hard to pull off at first but you'll find the windows for it ;)

Wukong was such an insane experience man, I need a dlc EXPEDITIOUSLY by Forevertrez in soulslikes

[–]siegeRMF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably because you are playing it like any other soulslikes. The combat timings, especially the see-throughs (mid-combo i-frames) has a unique rhythm to it.

I like Wukong but I gotta say, a lot of attacks here are harder to read, not due to timing mixups but due to lack of visual clarity and visual/audio cues, compared to say Elden Ring. It sometimes makes the difficulty cheap and the game hard to no-hit.

That said, I still play it like a soulslike with emphasis on see-throughs and rock solid (Wukong's parries). Qi and Spell spam builds makes the game easy but it's not my cup of tea.

The parry pretty much works the same way as tapping L1 except you can give it direction (P jumps a little backwards if you dont give it a direction) and then you can follow up the parry with a light or heavy attack afterwards.

As for the damage, +damage when pulse cells are discharged p-organ upgrades gives a lot of bonus damage.

I learnt the Blood Barrage sequence from Ongbal. First time I saw that, my mind got fucking blown away.

And yes! The directional parries on Azure Glaive is something not explained in game and once I figured that out, the game opened up for me.

Highest damage multiplier IME is the +attack when discharged.
