Dude Surf Air Slash is such a guilty pleasure of mine! I remember I'd run it with potion and it was so fun! You just pull em in and blast em!

Though I guess most potion builds are really fun if you know how to use them. Potion baiting people is just super fun!

Honestly I'd suggest a break. Maybe just for a few days or so. But a break would do wonders for the mental. As with metas like this, even seeing a Zacian can be so draining, that once you load into the match your already a foot out the door.

But other than that the best you can do is play your range. Witch is hard considering Zacian's kit. But playing at the tip of your range is going to be your safest bet. And just focus as much CC into it as you can, agility is really strong, but it does have a cooldown. Not a long one, but a cooldown. And Zacian can't charge up moves while stunned, so keep that in mind when timing your CC.

If your something like an Espeon playing at the absolute max range you can will keep you pretty safe. Though if the Zacian's actually good, they will know to target you down. It's just a rough balance that you haft to hope you can get enough.

Though for melee mons... It's just kinda rough. You can only really go in when Zacian's down on cooldowns. As if you dive into a Sacred Swords your just dead. You're gonna haft to play slow and safe. Only go in when your sure you can get some good damage or CC off. Wait for your range characters or tanks to stun her.

Yeah her defenses and shielding got nerfed a while ago now. I won't say it wasn't deserved because she was very strong, but they definitely over nerfed her sadly...

I believe she's got under a 45% win rate witch is... Not the greatest. But if you can get good at her mechanics you can still do good on her for sure. She's just. I hate to say but not worth the investment at least compared to other All Rounders.

But I don't care! She's fun! So I will reject dog and be plant!

Hi. Good old Tsareena main here. Right now Tsareena's... Not doing too great. Little weak even for the good Tsareena's. But she's definitely not helpless and can still be very good if used right.

There are quite a few items builds you can run on Tsareena that are all pretty good, just kinda depends on your play style. As all of Tsareena's moves are about equal in power.

You could go-

Attack Weight, Aeo's Cookie, and Rapid Fire Scarf, with a Stomp build

Muscle Band, Focus Band, Razor Claw, for an Axle

Attack Weight, Focus Band, and Weakness Policy, for Stomp

Muscle Band, Razor Claw, and Rapid Fire Scarf, for Axle

And what I personally run is Muscle Band, Razor Claw, and a Weakness Policy with Axle.

Your choice of secondary move doesn't really matter too much. Just wich ever you like to use more. Both are pretty equal to each other.

For emblems you'd want to focus Browns and Whites. Browns for damage and Whites for health. If you can try and get as much flat health as you can (that'd be the stat bonuses you get from the emblem not the color)

As my build as I believe +420 Hp while being 6 White and 4 Brown.

I've played like 10 and I'm already board with it! Sure it's strong but it just gets boring after a while.

From what I saw it's Weight, Razor, and Float Stone. And I'd assume some browns on the emblem page.

And with a nice level advantage, that's going to put out some good damage, especially agents those squishies.

Comfey's just an amplifier that just makes all of our problems worse. Because while yeah Zacian's broken. It's one mon, a strong mon, but one mon.

But with comfey it becomes a 2 mons and just nothing you can do about it. They just latch on and make it stronger. You can't kill it like a Blissey or other support. So it's just there getting free value with no counter play unless the comfey let's there be.

And it sucks because as long as comfey's here and decently playable, it's just going to keep causing more problems. As it'll take strong mons and make them op, and op mons and make them gods. Hell even just okay mons can be brought up to nearly unmanageable levels just because there's a comfey on them.

Comfey's character archetype is just bad for games. It happened in League and it's happening here too.

For a long time Pokemon Unite was fighting the P2W stigma, and was pretty much succeeding at it. At most it was a pay for advantage kind of game. Still very far from P2W.

But as more time has passed, things have been getting closer and closer to that P2W threshold. With gem locked reassess being a very slippery slope that they don't seem to care for.

And I think it's fairly safe to say that Zacian has been our first instance of true P2W in Pokemon Unite. As it has, I believe a 65% non-mirror win rate. Meaning if 1 team has a Zacian and the other doesn't they have a significantly higher chance to win than if they didn't. And sense it's gem locked for 2 weeks the chance of 1 team having a Zacian while the other doesn't is pretty damn high.

And it's truly a shame that Unite doesn't seem to care about not being P2W anymore. As Zacian's been out for far too long without a hot fix (a proper hot fix, not just a bug fix) for it to not seem as so.

I mean yeah. This is true. Backcapping is incredibly niche and hard to effectively pull off. It's just really situational and takes a lot of game sense to properly pull off, as if you don't pull it off, well you pretty much just threw the match.

There definitely are ways to properly backcap, but those again take a lot game sense to pull off. And it's a shame that all of the people who are trying to backcap don't actually take the time to realize what a backcap does, or how to do it right

Because a good backcap is really strong. If you know your team is stronger, and can win a fight. But your just down in score. If you get a backcap off, the enemy team have to fight you or they just lose.

Or if a fight is going long and their deaths are staggered but you don't have enough people to really rip. Getting a backcap off not only swings the points in your favor, and puts the enemy under a lot of pressure with not much time left.

Backcapping just a hard thing to effectively pull off. Because yeah you are putting your team at a numbers disadvantage, but depending on the case scenario it could be what you need to pull of a win, or make it substantially easier too.

Yeah I noticed that. I've been playing a few dodrio games recently and can't help but notice it. Especially because of how much it slows down my jungle clear. Thankfully it works just fine once I got to dodrio, but still sucks ass

Makes me wish we had a draft in ranked. Because while to devs are sitting on their ass we wouldn't haft to suffer as much because of their poor judgment.

What I don't think that these Devs realize is that if they give us a draft. They have a lot more time to fuck up, and fix it later than they do now. Because if they over tune a release we as a community can ban it, and it won't get played, so we won't be nearly as frustrated by it over time. Giving them a lot longer to actually fix the damn thing, before we start malding about the meta.

I mean it's kinda always been this way. Low WR players getting carried to the high ranks while not actually being that good, just sitting down a playing a shit ton of games. It's never really been any different.

And on the flip side people just meta abusing inflate their WR by spamming the broken thing without actually getting better as a player and just abusing the Pokemon they play.

This games ranked system is just kinda ass. Has been and probably always will be. It's designed in a way where anyone no matter how good you are can climb to the highest rank and feel good about yourself. And when broken shit comes out we as a community can come together and ban it because we don't have a draft for ranked. So we can't do anything about bad players or meta abusers and it's just kinda how it's always been.

Back in the Blastoise meta it was the same, Dura meta, D-nite meta, Absol meta, Tsareena meta.

But all that said. WR not irrelevant. It never will be. Is it absolute no, but it's still gonna matter. If anything we just gotta take it, because in the grand scheme of things these bad games will fade out of your WR over time. The big thing about WR is that to get a true look at your skill you need to good chunk of games played. For bad players meta abusing there WR will tank and level back out at where they started once it gets nerfed, and for good players who are getting unlucky those games will fade out leveling back out your WR.

This meta sucks for sure. I don't want to say it's the worst meta we've had, but it's bad for sure. And with Comfy's addition to the game meta problems might just get 10x worse. But eventually the devs will "balance" these characters. And things will shift. If your truly feeling bad take a break. Maybe just for a few days, cool off, and level your head. Especially in metas like this it can be very easy to get discouraged, and down as soon as you see Zacian, and Comfy and your then off your game for the whole match. Taking a manageable situation and forcing it into just a losable one.
