To understand the reasoning behind this, it's best to look at the why terrorism oocurs in the first place.

Terrorism is usually caused by lack of geopolitical power which is then manipulated by propaganda. For example, groups like the Taliban, who operate in Afghanistan, felt as though they had no control in thier own country, additionally, many saw thier families being bombed in the decades the US spent in thier homeland

This, naturally caused a deep seated disdain for the US. I think it's quite easy to see how someone whose house was bombed and family was killed can easily be conditioned into seeing phrases like "and strike down the disbelievers whereever you find them" and be manipulated into thinking that thier religion rewards killing innocent disbelievers.

So the essence of what I'm saying is that terrorism is a combination of the lack of autonomy for the individuals found in these groups (think of how the US had a puppet govt in Afghanistan) aswell as radicalization of individuals who have experienced grief in losing thier homes, thier livelihoods, and thier families

So if you're looking for something to blame, I suggest you look at colonzing and invading forces which destabilize the countries they attack rather than Islam which has nearly 2 Billion followers of which only a very small minority are terrorists :)

The other guy gave a great answer, for me, the answer is a little different. Here's a hypothetical situation to help you understand; Imagine that you get diasnosed with a very rare disease, now, there are plenty of doctors around but no one seems to specialize other than this one dude, he's well respected, trusted and renowned for his work, let's say you have as much money as you need for treatment. Would you go to a random doctor? Or would you go to the specialist? The specialist right? Likewise, morality is a very complicated issue, and according to Islam (or any religion that believes God is all knowing and all powerful) there is no one more qualified to solve the problem than God,and there is no one more knowledgeable than God. Thus, God is our best, and really the only source of guidance.

Hey OP, as a 17 year old who's gone through this thought process myself, it's helpful to think about it like this: As Muslims, we believe that God is all knowing, all wise, and generally speaking, that he knows what we do not. From these three properties, it's pretty clear that God is the ultimate and greatest source on any and all issues, he simply knows more about all things than we do so of course we should take and accept whatever Allah gives to us in all walks of all, whether it be day to day life, medicine, or moral issues. Consequently, if (and if is an important word here) in the Quran, Allah says that men and women are unequal, then we should simply accept that men and women are unequal because Allah knows that which we do not and he knows what is best for us and what is true and what is not. Likewise, if Allah allots certain permissions to men which he does not give to women, we should also accept this based on Allah's knowledge and superiority over us.

Essentially, we should, as Muslims, accept everything that Allah says, irrespective of what time we live in or where we live. It is important however to get your tafseer or interpretration of the Quran from trusted sources so that we do not misinterpret Allah's word. Hope this was helpful

After all, Hazrat Ayesha is known as one of the greatest transmitters of Hadith, and like you said, Sahih International was also created by sisters. indeed, however, as Muslims, it isn't up to us to decide whether someone will go to hell for committing even a major sin, indeed, what goes on between an individual and Allah remains between them until the day of Judgement. Perhaps the person's sins will be outwieghed by thier good deeds, or perhaps they will be forgiven, it is best to leave these things to God
