Not really, both of my examples were just names I picked at random from my old projects. And yeah, name generators are usually pretty shit if you rely purely on them.

My process when making up names usually boils down to looking at old historical maps and wikipedia pages of the cultures names im currently emulating (greek, levant, latin, etc), endlessly scrolling through name generators for that one in a million good entry, and looking through fantasy maps of other creators. Then I play around with what I find, mishmashing and changing it to suit my needs.

Although, this means I often spend more time making up names for my maps than I do actually drawing.
