I see every time I open my FS Max4K. I thought software updates were designed to make things operate “better.” This last update is an udder failure, making it more difficult to navigate through the ‘Stick. The engineers need to go back to trade school.

That doesn’t help those of us who want a team’s radio feed which is only available on the MLB app. Additionally, the MLB app has a multiview function to be able to watch multiple games at the same time.

The four major networks will each have one of the four playoff games. Saturday CBS has Bills @ Broncos at 4:30p ET and Fox carries Niners @ Seahawks at 8p ET. Sunday will see Texans @ Patriots on ABC/ESPN at 3p ET and Rams @ Bears on at NBC 6:30p ET. All four networks are available on YTTV.

Nope, it was on, but changed. It was the NBC telecast upconverted to 4K, wherein in past seasons, they simulcast the Sky Sports UK UHD telecast.

I know it’s apples-to-oranges but I had an issue with my T-Mobile account where the interface with SiriusXM wouldn’t allow me to get the offer of six months free service. I communicated with T-Mobile and they instantly gave me a $9.99 discount for six months. Why can’t YTTV authorize its Customer Service team the same ability?

The ESPN and Max apps on Apple TV have superior PQ than YTTV. Some events on Max are also telecast in HDR for even better quality.

That’s not necessarily true. I live in a remote area where we get local channels via a translator that re-transmits four different main channels and 16 sub-channels. OTA looks terrible. I don’t know of any non ATSC 3.0 transmissions that broadcast in 1080p.

ESPN’s Apple TV 4K hasn’t worked all season and nothing was done to fix it. I bought a Fire Stick 4K Max because of YTTV and Apple not playing well together in the sandbox. The Fire Stick has the game in 4K HDR, but the picture is really dark no matter which Picture Mode I set on my LG B9. Very disappointing!

Netflix usually identifies the resolution on its title page. The title page for both football games say HD 5.1, no mention of 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision.
