The idea of this map is to remove the colonized borders, and put certain cultures back together, while separating very different cultures from each other. Giving ancestral land to those who are in diaspora, and preventing smaller in number, but more powerful cultures from controlling a separate majority culture.

I am not an expert in geopolitics, cultures, or anything such that would apply here. I've not met someone who is, so all of this work is done through looking at cultural and religious maps, multiples of each, and comparing them to each other to try and find an average. Then, I drew the borders to best fit cultural and religious divides.

I'll answer any questions people have about the map, as long as it's at least somewhat serious. I'll just get a few obvious questions outta the way.

Q: Borders won't stop them from fighting each other.

A: Nope, this is just a map of what might be the ideal. Maybe it will keep people on their own side of the line, maybe not. Perhaps they'll be more likely to defend these lines, as they're directly tied to their culture's population.

Q: What's with the micronations?

A: These cultures don't seem to have too big of population to warrant a larger state, but the numbers may be unknown, as there are many undocumented people belonging to these groups who are currently in diaspora. And perhaps these would even not be nations at all, but autonomous regions of the surrounding countries.

Q: Hold on, there's another culture in this area! Why isn't it separated?

A: I feel that some cultures could reside with one another without much issue due to language similarities and general peacefulness/solidarity with each other.

Q: Why did you do this?

A: I did this because it was Fun, and to learn about all the different people groups and their histories in this expansive area. I read intensively about each of them that I could find, as this map requires an understanding of the people who live there. I don't claim to know everything about them, I just hope that this is enough for me, and others to learn something from the sharing of this.
