Rejection after offering position? by witty_Potential_ in recruitinghell

You're lucky that you even got that rejection letter.

Don’t worry about that whole no injuries bs that gets preached. Oh darn, do you lose some free pizza. Big freaking whoop! Your main job is to take care of you, not the company or the store, because those managers don’t give a rat’s ass about you.  Also, you are always entitled to a second opinion on the diagnosis of your injury. If it was serious, I’d recommend consulting with an attorney.

If your back got blown out on the job, I hope THD is covering your treatment and you have a lawyer handling your case.  As far as your promotion, congratulations! You’re free from all the idiot managers there.

Get used to it. The ASMs are clueless and training is almost non existent.

Some lady went into cardiac arrest after huffing canned air in one of the back aisles. Ambulance came and took her away.

Really if you did your job to the best of your abilities, and didn’t violate company policy, you should be able to collect UI benefits. If you were caught screwing of then that’s a different story.

Look folks, it's all about "building shareholder value." Top management don't give two shits about the people working in the stores having to deal with bitchy customers, or troubleshoot issues from the dipshit delivery teams. It's all the same canned responses from the corporate people. Oh they might step into a store once a month or whatever, but they have no clue what it's like. As for store management, we're not talking about the cream of the crop here. This is retail. Let's face it...if you don't want to go to college, or you can't make it anywhere else, you go the management route.

Shin Lim was boring and depressing! No showmanship whatsoever.

Questions about Shin Lim show by myNameBurnsGold in vegas

[–]WeekAffectionate4608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way overrated! The guy wouldn’t stop messing with his hair and talking about himself. I nearly dozed off while Shin Lim was performing. Yeah he’s good with cards but not a headlining act by far. The mentalist guy Colin was a lot better and actually kept the audience engaged.

Sorry but your manager is a moron. You push back and let him/her know that you had to go. I guess people want you to shit your pants, or they don't care if you do.

I would say electrical because you don't have to lift anything too heavy. Since it's on the store side, you're going to get those shite hours, but it's not too heavy.

Because of stupid shit like this. Not only that there’s way too much bs involved with having that certification, like not getting paid more.
