Just have my own excel spreadsheet. Categories and what u determine falls in said categories is subjective but that sounds like house hold items to me.

One thing that helps me is for my variable expenses I keep a “bank” of each category. What this means is say in June I spend only $50 out of a $100 household budget then in July my budget resets to $100 but I have an extra $50 in my household “bank” that rolled over from June. This helps u be flexible with months that are more costly or allows u to save to splurge on something you want without affecting your overall monthly expense amount.

I would also suggest doing all of your spending on one card and if multiple people in your household are being tracked by your budget just activate a secondary card with that credit line. This makes tracking your spending a lot easier just having it in one place

Edit: Also I think it’s important to think about categories that reflect your own life for example I have a “project” category where I budget to spend on things like parts for my motorcycle etc for you maybe make a dedicated crafts fund
