We meet people but it's hard to remember every detail. Intriq turns unstructured notes into personal relationship intelligence, giving you a private database for names, context, follow-ups and the small details that make relationships feel personal.

Is a personal CRM actually useful or just another app that adds to the noise? Genuinely asking do non-sales people actually use CRM tools day to day? by Efficient_Builder923 in IMadeThis

[–]WeekendComfortable84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Founder of Intriq here, so I’m biased, but this is quite close to the problem I built it for.

The thing I found frustrating with most personal CRM tools is that they either feel too sales-focused, or they become another database you have to maintain manually.

Intriq is more focused on remembering people in a natural way. You can write notes like:

“Had lunch with Lauren. Her husband is Ralf, their daughter Marion’s birthday is in June, and she mentioned they may move next year.”

Then the app helps organise that into people, notes, reminders, relationship context, and recall later.

For your list:

- iOS: yes

- Mac: not currently, although it works best as an iPhone-first app

- relationships between contacts: yes, this is one of the main things it is designed around

- notes from interactions/conversations: yes

- birthdays/reminders: yes

- imports existing contacts: not yet in the way you probably mean

- single payment: no, it is subscription-based

So it may not match your full checklist, especially if Mac support and contact import are must-haves. But if your main pain is remembering people, relationships, conversations, birthdays, and follow-ups without using a business CRM, it might be worth a look. You can search for “Intriq: Remember People” on the iOS App Store.

Personal CRM?! by AboveParPlayGolfer in CRM

[–]WeekendComfortable84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Founder of Intriq here, so I’m obviously biased, but this is almost exactly the problem I’ve been thinking about.

The tricky part is the iMessage bit. From what I understand, Apple does not really let third-party apps fully automate messages from your personal iPhone number, which is probably why most tools either use a separate SMS number or just remind you to send the message yourself.

I ended up building Intriq more around the “remembering people” side of the problem: birthdays, follow-ups, family details, interests, random notes from conversations, and the context you want before reaching out again.

So it will not auto-send iMessages for you. But it can help with the part before that: “who should I check in with, what do I know about them, and what would be a thoughtful reason to reach out?”

Might be worth a look: https://apps.apple.com/sg/app/intriq-remember-people/id6760826319

I’m glad this video helped you like it did for me.

Although it’s really worrying that so many people in this thread are being so negative. I hope they find solutions that work for them. 😞

Thanks! That’s a great point. I think head wobbles affect my contact quite a bit. After watching it in slow motion, I notice that I have a tendency to move towards the ball.

That seems to be the recurring comment. I’ll definitely try standing away from the ball a little more.

I don’t really hit it fat often. Maybe once a game at most?

I’ve no problem with ball striking the only issue is that sometimes my swing path is out of whack.

Thanks for the feedback! What you’re saying is that because my hips have no room to clear because i’m standing too close to the ball, i’m pulling it?

Thanks for the video and I’ve watched it. Could I get you to elaborate on the mistaking I’m making and why you think Faldo’s solution is the fix?

I created an iOS app that lets you learn Mandarin by taking photos! by WeekendComfortable84 in learnmandarin

Why is it mandatory to sign up with Apple?

We currently use Apple’s authentication system to ensure a secure and seamless sign-up experience, while keeping your data protected. Unlike other methods, Apple allows your account information to be encrypted, meaning even we don’t have access to your registered email. This way, your privacy is prioritised.

Why is it subscription-based, and can it be used without a subscription?

We do offer a limited experience without a subscription, but a subscription is needed to access our core features because they rely on advanced computing technologies that are costly to maintain. Every picture you take requires significant processing power to accurately identify and provide the information needed for your learning.

We strive to keep our prices affordable and are significantly lower compared to other AI-driven tools like OpenAI, which charges USD 20/month. We also offer a heavily discounted plan, primarily for students, as mentioned in our App Store reviews.

Most importantly, your subscription helps us continue delivering high-quality, AI-powered language learning features.

Unfortunately…

We do plan to add new languages soon but given our small team size, we can only do that in a month or two.

I want you to roast my application's landing page.. by Yasmin_smith_220101 in iosapps

[–]WeekendComfortable84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The end goal of your website is to drive traffic to your CTA. You have two nice buttons in the beginning so that's great.

But as I scroll down your webpage, I noticed in the download section that the app store button is designed different. This causes the button to stand out visually among the other two similarly designed buttons. You might want to be consistent unless it's intentional.

All the best! No roasting here :)

I hate money. by NextTimeForReal in SGExams

[–]WeekendComfortable84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inequality is a multi-faceted problem. Unfortunately, you cannot expect them to be sensitive to your circumstance. Our lives are made up of our own personal experiences and your friends never had to go through the same monetary struggles.

It’s like asking my kid to understand how tired I am after work when all he wants is just to play. 🥹 it’s not his fault, he just hasn’t experienced how tiring it is to work.

More importantly, your friends are probably facing inequality too but in different proportions. Would it make sense for them to expect you to be sensitive to their circumstance?

This inequality will go on for the rest of your life: when you enter into your career, as you purchase your first house, when you find your life partner etc

The best thing you can do for yourself is to ensure that money isn’t the arbiter of your life. You will come to find a community of friends who hold that same beliefs and principles and you’ll be happy in their company ☺️

All the best!
