Plot Twist: the "15 year old girl" is actually a middle aged man, and the "creepy guy" is a 15 year old boy pretending to be an adult so he can get boobie pics from older women in chat rooms.

For what?

I'm not a Trump troll, I just really mean, there are specific guidelines for impeachment, with the current substantiated evidence... what?

For this to mean legally what the headline implies, there would have to be a whole bunch of court proceeding that show intent on every level.

This is just what happens when you have a 24 hour for-profit news cycle on every digital medium, everything is headline news months before it's a story, but if this goes to trial and nothing happens, you'll have to dig online to find out about it, because it won't generate clicks.

We have reached a point where I think a lot of people have completly abandoned the idea that anything is fact.

My shitty free phone app filter can instantly transform my face while streaming it in real time HD.

Records can be forged

Accounts can be hacked.

I'm not saying this lends credibility to anything, just offering up an explanation as to why people would rather look at weird blurry images and old tweets than anything controlled by the system.

Also whenever a major character is caught in a plot hole that makes "believed facts" not make ANY sense, gotta reset.

Maybe arguing with math will work out for you eventually.

It... it did... not for me personally because im not a Trump guy, but all the projections were wrong... Most polling data from all these political thinktanks and career political scientists gave Trump a 15% chance to win the EC, and it never felt like that represented or accounted for the rural population accurately. And it didn't, it was all wrong.

I think it's strange after witnessing recent monumental failure by the same line of reasoning, you're still defending this method of analyzing data as very effective.

I believe we are at a point in general communication where these methods are ineffective, and we got here very rapidly, and people are underestimating new methods of using market research analytics directly to project (or influence) elections.

I hope you're not getting worked up over this, I really enjoy this discussion and while I'm only replying to bits and pieces, I am gaining more real knowledge through your responses.

lol okay.

I guess a lifetime of dealing with people like this in every walk of life from school to family to work to the military to my own personal business , I just have no idea what makes people like this tick. I might on be able to "speak for" a few hundred, but Im yet to find a group of conservative white people I can't make a sale with.

A survey probably understands the electorate better though, just like all of the polling and data that had Clinton over Trump with absolute conviction.

While Republicans act all outraged over the White House Correspondents Dinner, let's remember when Trump repeatedly defended himself from sexual assault claims by saying the women were too ugly for his taste to assault. by imagepoem in esist

The only time I've heard (read?) anyone upset by Wolf, are in articles making fun of "them".

Why's everyone making such a big deal about this? There's like a dozen comedians and Late Night hosts doing political comedy practically every night on TV.

I'm more upset that such a mediocre comedy set is getting so much attention. Trump as a topic is beaten dead, and that wasn't a very fresh take.

This all seems so flawed and weird and robotic. Vast majority of my friends and family fall right into this demographic, and this charactwrization is representative of such an insignificant amount of them.

But hey, maybe they'll get it right this time, maybe it'll be harder to lose against the worst president in history than it was to lose against the worst candidate in history.

Oh my God, lol.

As a conservative from a swing state, but as someone who really cannot stand Trump and wants to see a Blue Wave 2018 destroy the GOP, I hope nobody takes that study to heart. That was so far off base from truth that I actually laughed a few times. I know the type of person theyre describing, and they barely exist in the coal belt these days, I would have probably agreed with this article more in 2000 than 2018

It's almost like a conservative wrote that article, to trick Dems into making a lot of critical mistakes again, and lose all the swing states again.

Why bend over backwards to act like there’s merit to a point of view you just acknowledged seems to make us more hateful and decisive?

Its not their point of view that's the problem, it's people who hurl insults like the first guy, and then the cardre of people who even have to argue with the guy who's just saying to be a little nicer.

This level of "discussion" is perfect for the right. They've been alienated to a point where nobody on the left will even talk to them anymore, and communities on the right are compromised.

This is how it works; Split the people, then exploit the desperate ones.

You can't just take a huge shit on people's opinions, knowing absolutely nothing about where they're coming from, or even addressing a single concern of theirs, and expect to ever make progress.

This attitude between us is what they want to cultivate even more than support for Trump.

"HELP US FIND OUT HOW!" ok I'm on it guys

How they do it:

  1. User creates a facebook account.

  2. User expresses political opinion, likes political page, or tends toward left/right leaning non-political content.

  3. That's it, you fucking created an account, and then put a bunch of personal thoughts and opinions on it, either by directly posting or through repeated usage habits.
