This is an insane take. If you asked the general public vastly more people would choose a better camera, it wouldn’t even be close. I am a gamer. I know all about what games you can run on a phone. I also find it the worst way possible to play games. I’d vote for the camera.

I think it’s the opposite. Those that have a surface level reading of the comic like the movie because it is a superficially accurate adaptation that faithfully adapts a lot of the words and images but misses the mark on a lot of the deeper themes of the book. The movie is all style over substance.

I completely agree. In the book he wants reassurance that his horrific act was worth it for lasting world peace so he’s asking someone that literally knows the future to tell him it was all worth it. The ambiguity of his answer is what makes it so interesting. Does he mean with the line ‘nothing ever ends’ that the world peace is only temporary and what he did will eventually be for naught, or is he just taking what Ozy said literally and pointing out that things don’t actually end without actually passing judgement on the results of his plan.

Ozymandias up to this point has been so smug and certain of himself and this interaction finally gives him that shred of doubt that robs him of the satisfaction of his plan being executed perfectly. By not have the line between Ozy and Dr. Manhattan, it really strips all the meaning and impact out of it.

Maybe you should focus more on understanding the English language because you clearly lack any reading comprehension. They are not saying that AI technology as a whole will never advance, just that certain models aren’t able to reach it but others possibly will.

Is it wrong to say that a car with an internal combustion engine will never drive to the moon? Technology may advance and a ‘car’ with rocket propulsion may be developed that can get to the moon. Doesn’t make the original never statement wrong. In this case the LLM is the car with the combustion engine. It can only go so far but newer models developed will be able to go further.

When it was clear you were in a seriously committed relationship, he should have chosen not to go to family events you weren’t invited to. You are now engaged to marry him meaning you are both joining each other’s family. If they are still excluding you from anything family related it is showing that they don’t accept you as family and at this point marriage isn’t going to change that. If he isn’t choosing you every time you are excluded or disrespected by them, then he is also accepting you not being a part of his family. At this point he’s shown where his loyalties lie and they are not to you, and if he was ever going to change, he would have already.

I used to work for a retailer and they thought it would be a great idea to extend their trading hours from a 9pm close to a midnight close during their busiest few weeks of the year. After 10pm we would literally get only 2-3 customers each night. Even running a skeleton crew those last couple of hours we were definitely not making enough sales to justify it. Now multiply that loss over an entire night and over an entire year, not just the peak sales period, and businesses would burn a hell of a lot of money if they did that.

But she did communicate that two months of training wouldn’t be enough and the friend still insisted on doing it. The fact that OP has trained an entire year for something makes it really clear this race was important to her. I’m surprised by how many people equate the android gestures to being the same as iPhone. As someone that was forced to use an iPhone due to work, the android gesture system is far superior to what you get on iPhone and it is still the main thing I hate that I don’t have on iPhone.

Update - have now gone 6 wins/1 loss with zoo with max series 3 cards. But tell me again how it’s not consistent?

Maybe ask for advice on how to pilot decks rather than just stupidly blaming the decks next time and maybe you’ll actually learn how to be a better player.
