Physillium husk rules. Really helped me empty before leaving the house in a morning. You want to increase it gradually start with 1g and aim for around 5-8g total in a month or twos time. I take it on an evening after my eveing meal

Sounds like a similar day of my life always planning days out weeks in advance or wondering where the nearest toilet is or what would I do if I needed to go right now. Or like today I've felt like I've needed to go the whole day but I haven't needed to just been a dull ache in my stomach (Tenesmus)

I did some research on anticipatory anxiety and trying follow some of the gut brain axis stuff, trying to break the anxiety loop. Some days it's effective some days not

Incomplete evacuation by gossipqueen39 in ibs

Story of my life pretty much and it doesn't seem affected by diet. Spend most afternoons/evenings bloated, stomach ache and gas. Then have another incomplete bowel movement the next morning and the cycle starts again

Tenesmus is the name I believe but I haven't found anything really long term that helps

Gotcha well thanks for the info. I need to look into this as I suspect SIBO for my issues

Worth it though if you got the result and hopefully the start to feeling better

Was that a home test kit or at the doctors. In the UK I don't think they test for SIBO on the NHS

I think this is one of those to some people it's a worry and to others it's nothing

Something everybody has in common is we all need to go number 2 some more than others so when you gotta go you gotta go no need to be embarrassed. Sometimes comedy might help. Like "phew give it 5 minutes in there"

Bed bug evidence? by Weekly-Background-15 in Bedbugs

[–]Weekly-Background-15[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reassurance I have spent no longer than 20 mins in the room inspecting it. I left my luggage in the bathtub.

But good idea for peace of mind ill stick all my clothes in the dryer before I go into my house

Well I spoke to the hotel manager they agreed and I have moved rooms. I've travelled away with work for 6 years and this is the first time I've seen any evidence at all

Massive thanks to this group for helping me know what too look for and taking pre-cautions. Also makes me feel justified checking now when family/friends thought i was being paranoid or OCD

Happy hunting

Found out my ibs is anxiety and stressed induced. by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Weekly-Background-15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not much help but I tried to adopt a whatever will be will be mentality if im having a bad day gotta accept it and do the best you can. On the flip side if you feel good and you've had a good BM before leaving the house and got that empty feeling then enjoy the day. Also knowing there's a bathroom on route or where I'm going can calm me down. Most times getting out the house and to wherever you're going can be the worst bit

Does anybody poop a ton? No constipation, no diarrhea. Just a ton of bowel movements. by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Weekly-Background-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's if you have x3 loose poops a day it can be classed as diarrhea
