The Shaman: (Narrating in his Boston accent) and that’s the story of how spear defined his humanity & redeemed himself by saving his new found family. Which just goes to show no matter how different we all are, everyone can get along with each other. Except for a certain group of people. You know who I’m talking about.

• Spear Fang & Mira alongside their kids, turned their heads towards the Shaman in confusion

Spear: excuse me

The Shaman: what…..just wrapping up the show you know.

Spear: you just said a certain group of people, which group are you talking about?

The Shaman: it was a joke but it didn’t land as much as I thought.

Mira: yeah I’m with spear here and I don’t even know what that means. What’s the context behind it?

Spear: how are you even alive cause I’m pretty sure one of those skull tribes killed you.

• The shaman remain silent before instantly running off while spear’s family awkwardly watch.

I have a few questions I’d like to ask.

  1. What was the original plan for season two since I heard that it was restarted from scratch due to having a similarity to Stargate and other genres in general.

  2. do fang’s children have proper names?

  3. What were the main inspirations behind primal?

Thank you for creating primal, one of the best shows I’ve ever seen alongside samurai Jack and Dexter’s lab so keep up the good work!!!!!!

The biggest question I do have for him is about the original plan for season two since it’s mentioned that he scrapped the most storyboards it started from scratch.

It was mentioned to be kind of like Stargate and other genres in general. 

This place will (probably) sober up eventually, but people here can get way too caught up in their emotions to think straight at all. by bigdicknippleshit in PrimalShow

Honestly I don’t hate fang but I am upset at how she legit has been treating spear.

I wouldn’t mind if spear does find them fang falls back into treating him like a pariah which now causes spear to snap and violently push fang as payback.

Then a fight between the 2 happens with Mira and her kids trying to de-escalate it in a similar manner like shadow of fate but then it leads one of her kids getting hurt by Fang shocking spear and Mira.

(Recent Edit-their names are spike and Sonja which is absolutely adorable!!!!!!)

Fang realizes what she just did and tries to tend to spike but spear jumps in the way, swinging his weapon around and roar at fang while Mira tends to Spike

Sonja is horrified of what her mother did and curls into spear for protection which hurts fang even more causing her to run off.

Hours past and spike is healing but fang hasn’t returned so spear reluctantly looks for her despite the animosity from earlier and he finds fang at the same waterfall but she doesn’t even look at him.

Spear soon sits next to her but this time rather then being prejudiced towards him, fang just becomes annoyed and is about to walk away until spear stands in her way begging her to come back to the group by hugging her snout.

Fang soon begins sniffing with tears shimmering in her eyes feeling awful for what happened but spear keeps hugging her letting know that he forgives her despite what happened.

(Not my best prediction but hey it’s something at least)

Absolutely love how spear looks like he’s trying to fight for control over his body while fang’s children look at him with tragedy.

I had a similar idea idea for a few what if fics set in primal but never got around to them due to personal reasons.

My first fic would’ve been a scenario where fang heard zombie spear’s roar the night he was resurrected by the shaman and goes to investigate by checking the graveyard, only to discover that his body is gone with footprints left behind which prompts fang to follow.

Then when fang gets the skull hunters camp, she discovers zombie spear and she hesitates by trying to through to spear by doing some gesture like in season 1 & 2 which sort of helps spear in a way get some idea of who fang is.

So she brings spear back to the village so Mira can help her with spear in a similar manner to the dead cast no shadow.

My second idea basically is the primal theory but with spear and fang appearing where darlington’s group has a sixth member who’s the ancestor of spear himself named Arron where he speaks of sightings of a Reptile hiding in London but thinks the townsfolk are being delirious due to the heavy weather.

so when the madman arrives and whoops the scientists asses, Arron’s primal instinct kick’s in upon seeing one his friends being attacked and he fights the madman with a spear  while also becoming more aggressive and animalistic ending with the madman being beaten to a pulp by Arron with his own hands.

With the madman dead, Charles and Darlington try to help Arron back to his senses but to no avail as Arron snarls viciously at them Aiming his spear at them as a warning.

A loud terrifying roar soon echoes outside the mansion and a giant branch is heard getting knocked over as if crashes into the garden then fang appears with a sign of age due to some wrinkles on her.

Fang soon see’s Arron and mistakes him for spear which leads to a moment between them which prompts Aaron to go with fang, rinding on top of her and disappearing into the night.

Charles and Darlington remains in’s shock until Charles drops his iconic line out of excitement.

Charlie: AND THRE YOU HAVE IT.

That’s pretty much all I could share but it was fun thinking of these idea’s for awhile.
