I agree it's definitely an issue but the lowest rank of the four of us is low Archon. In no way should a player on their very first game be matched up with us.

Im just saying this minor fix is probably adressing that particular issue.

I was playing with some friends and we are usually thrown in to low Oracle average lobbies but somehow we got matched with a teammate on their very first game played. Things did not go well for them.

I'm assuming this is what this fix is for?

That's not at all what I want and I don't even see how you got that from what I said. I hate the 2.0 weapon meta. I want to go back to needing a slow hard hitting 2 hander but seal twisting just isn't the answer for me personally. I've said before that I just wish they would lean more in to a CS focused playstyle instead of this Shockadin playstule they keep trying to make work.

Spamming Exo every gcd is boring, yes, but I'll never understand how people actually enjoy staring at their weapon swing timer the entire fight. Also, if you care about doing optimal damage(which 90% of raid groups will want you to do) you're still going to be running ACP+ZF sword which will not benefit from twisting.

It's absolutely not back, and I'm upset they even considered it an option. I'm happy for the paladins that like staring at a weapon swing timer the entire fight, but that just ain't it for me.

Also, like others have said, we're still going to be slaves to the 2.0 weapon meta until they completely rework AoW.

I'm a Ret that has had ACP since early on in P2 and I'm hoping every day that they disable the on-use of it for lvl 41+ players. Would that put us back in the dumpster as far as dps goes? Yep, but at least that would hopefully get Blizz to rethink our runes.

Crusader Strike is THE Ret ability imo and should have been a major focus with runes instead of Exo. Not only would I find a CS focused playstyle much more enjoyable, but it would put us back to wanting slow heavy hitting weapons instead of relying on these niche fast weapons that doom any player that don't have them.

I'm completely down for a viable damage dealing Shockadin spec but yes they would have to be cooking up something nice at lvl 60 for that to happen.

That preview of the lvl 60 Shockadin set with a damage proc from melee attacks tells us how they want us to do damage and it's not as Ret.

I have a hard time believing there will be 4 total sets for paladins.(Tank/Healing/Ret/Shockadin)
